Protecting Our Home (EMP Survival in a Powerless World) Paperback – June 30, 2020

A really terrific storyline based upon what is happening in the world today...unfortunately. A critical review of the attitudes and values of modern society and where we are headed.

A good read. Kept my attention. Not too sure about the ending though. A little too touchy feely for me.

Never thought I'd like the many authors, but it's grown on me. I love the story line behind it's meaning. This maybe my second favorite in this series so far.

We need to be a little more creative in the writing. Why not write a EMP book about the average guy who worked in a down town retail store with no where to go and no military training.

The immediate after effects of an EMP, with confusion, violence and a reshaping of society as we know it. Interesting inclusion of teenagers and veterans add to the depth. The rather abrupt ending is disappointing.

Normal people confronted by an extraordinary situation. Much more believable than a lot of EMP fiction. Also, it takes human life seriously — none of the absurd body counts some other books have.

While, I loved the story, the writing seemed a bit juvenile for me. Making a big deal out of the kids swearing or giving them permission to do it and telling them they can be considered an adult because of what they have seen just seem like a kid wrote it and is looking for validation. Not a seasoned enough writer for me, I couldn't finish.

I do enjoy the EMP stories I have read and this one offered a slightly different background than many of the others I've read. The characters and setting were different and offered a slightly different twist to others over read.
