Q: Is this the same product as the sheet of suede product? Is there any benefit of buying the precut product as opposed to the sheet as both need cut

I have purchased both products, first the pre-cut, then the sheet. I prefer the sheet because my shoes are small - 6-1/2 women's - and I can get several pairs out of a sheet. The material is the same. If your shoes are close to the size of the pre-cut, you just trim off what you don't need rather than starting from scratch tracing your soles. I hope that helps.

Q: How many come in a pack

A pack has all the parts you need to cover one pair of shoes. Specifically, a pack has two parts in it that cover the right and a left front of your shoes, and it has two parts that cover the heels of your shoes. In total, there are four parts of suede in a pack.

Q: What is medium size and what is x-large size?

Dimensions of Size Medium soles: Front soles are 4.25" wide x 5.7" long, heels are 3" wide x 3.5" long Dimensions of Size X-Large soles: Front soles are 5.0" wide x 6.75" long, heels are 3.5" wide x 4.3" long

Q: Is there a cleaning procedure necessary for leather soles required before attaching the stick on suede soles

I honestly don’t remember the exact procedure the vendor recommended; however, I applied this product to dance sneakers which had a hard rubber sole (not leather) and the pre-glued suede sole really stuck and are performing well. That said, I have placed suede on the bottom of leather shoes requiring my own glue. I recommend you make sure the leather soles are clean (no grit, dirt, or grease). If you want, you could also “lightly” roughen the leather soles with a little sand paper before adding the new suede soles. Hope this helps.
