Capital PneumaticsInflator Gauge

Love it
To those out there that suffer with leaks, "Yes, you need teflon tape". This is not optional. Two pieces of metal screwed together cannot make an airtight seal. About 80% of those who complained of leaks, if they had used enough teflon tape, would be fine. For the money, I think this inflator is a steal. I find the chuck that attaches to the tire to fit and lock-on perfectly fine. Unless I tug the hose, there is no leak when I fill the tire. I find the gauge to be accurate enough for my needs. Those involved in racing would need something better, but for the average homeowner / DIYer, this is fine. If you find your air pressure readings to be off by more than +/-2%, then you have a defective unit and should seek an exchange. At this price point, you should not expect the same level of quality control as a until that costs 2-3 times as much. For the average person, I think this inflator is great and well worth the money.

I would buy this again.
Actually really nice. I might use a different connector instead of the one provided, but the inflator itself is good= = = = =Update: after 4 years, it's still going strong. I use it once a month so I cannot say much about daily use durability. Gauge isn't 100% accurate but close enough.

Very fair value for under 10 dollars!
Gauge is reads within 2 lbs with several other gauges I own. I have no idea which ( if any ) of them is correct. I just hope they are,The yellow hose is soft and flexible but doesn't kink. Good! The schrader valve coupling works well, holds itself on, and doesn't leak. The trigger works well. The gauge is big, legible, and repeatable. The push-button bleed does not let much air out. If you overshot by a significant amount its going to take a few seconds to bleed down your work with this button. But, it works.

Need 6 or 7 Wraps of Teflon Tape For Air Seal
As a novice, I found it difficult to attach this to a hose quick release adapter. The nut on this item was too thin for my fat basic crescent wrench. I probably needed a thinner fixed size open wrench. With 3 wraps of teflon tape, the adapter still leaked air at this item's threading. Seller / manufacturer emailed me to suggest 6 or 7 wraps of tape. I redid it as prescribed, and now the adapter threads don't leak air. The fill valve attachment seems like it won't last long, but it is OK for light duty use.

Works great. The clip is a TAD on the cheap ...
Works great. The clip is a TAD on the cheap side, so i subtracted one star, but it works. Gauge works great too.really fast and easy way to fill tires, MUCH better than the gas-station style: you do not need to literately hold the end into the valve while filling with air.

It WORKS
After 5 returns of other brands, this one the cheapest at $8.79 fits the bill. Nice flexible yellow hose. A quick connect that actually works and NO leaks. Gauge is nice and clear.

This inflator blows.....in a good way
Seems to be a pretty solidly built inflator. Love the built in gauge and it is accurate after comparing readings with my handheld digital tester. It took 3 times to get the fitting to not leak, progressively putting more teflon tape on each time. I haven't had to put that much tape on an air tool fitting ever, but I think that is pretty minor for a sub $10 price tag. Now though no leaks and I am quite pleased with the product.

inaccurate gauge, otherwise great
Worked for a time.. then had a tire fixed and went to verify pressure at home afterwards. Tires take 44psi, and it read 60. I assumed they'd filled it wrong at the shop, so brought it down to 44, only to have the tire pressure light come on next time I drove it. I cked the other tires, and they read 60 too. So..... I'll replace the defective gauge w/ an old gauge I kept off a broken compressor. I do like the fact that you can clip the hose onto the schraeder valve.
