Mr. Pen Airtight 18-Well Watercolor Palette with 2 Mixing Areas and Lid - Folding Paint Tray

This is an AWESOME little palette! It’s compact but still has plenty of room, closes tightly and really does keep even watercolor moist. It’s perfectly portable. I love it and consider it one of my best art supply buys in a long time! Thanks for making a great palette for a great price!

Excellent quality. Sturdy without being bulky. The clasp and seal are ideal. Paint wells are a good size with nice depth. The removable mixing tray is a handy bonus, and I love that even with watercolors added they do not bleed into each other on the tray. Easily washed clean with water and a soft cloth. Ordered this as a travel mixing palette, so it needed to be large enough to hold a few brushes, but compact enough to fit easily in a small bag. This palette is exactly what I was hoping for!

Super nice, well made, plenty of room for mixing, has a removable tray. You need this in your artist toolbox! And i LOVE the mustache sticker! Really great purchase~

not as good as the larger mijello acrylic palettes. i understand this is a watercolor palette so i can't quite compare them exactly, but i think the mijello palette is larger and works better for acrylic projects. i dont think these are the most airtight. these pots are too small to scrape dried acrylic paint out of, so i need to figure out how to get that out. otherwise it is nice, a solid metal lid with an extra plastic palette stored within the lid, it definitely gives you extra mixing space. it's pretty good and portable and once i figure out a good process for my acrylic paints, it will be perfect.

Typical Mr. Pen product. Made well, price was competitive with bigger brands, and SUPER USEFUL! I am teaching myself how to watercolor and this gadget hold my brushes and paints. A must for anyone who wants to save on paint!

I really like this palette. I am fairly new to watercolor and have tried several palettes prior to this one. They were workable except for the fact the paint dried up in the wells or I had to wash it out every each use. Each time I painted, I needed to get paint for the tubes, put it into the wells and then mix as needed. I decided to try this palette and haven’t looked pack. They were workable palette has 18 wells for paint. I think each can fit a pan, but since I use tubes, I am not sure. But, I can load up to 18 colors in the palette, and when I am done I can close the lid, lock it and the paint stays inside. I might have to reactivate a color with some water next time, but I no longer have to reload the colors every time. An added bonus is the removable mixing tray that is big enough to make several mixes or washes at one rime without having them run together. The removable tray is easy to clean, and the wetted paint does not “bead up” like some other plastic trays I have used. The tray did stain the first time I used it, and I can see some light pastel stains, but since then, every time I use it, I can easily clean it with water and a paper towel. It fits my needs perfectly and fits nicely inside my ArtBox paint box.

These thoughtful palettes have an array of bright colors, are made of a lightweight and durable plastic thats perfect for travel , plein aire or home. I have several which are easily identified to me by its colorful top. Two have watercolor paints, one have gouache and one has acrylics.I love that it holds 18 colors which is not too many choices but more than enough to mix any color I need. There is an extra removable mixing tray which is so useful. The best part of this palette is the versatility it offers because of its size, seal in adaptability and lightweight. Cluck for buck to boot. Highly recommend.

Very practical. Does exactly what you need.

The way this palette is designed, all the paints are along 3 sides, bordering good size mixing spaces. It's the nicest, least cumbersome palette I've ever used, and the airtight feature will come in handy when I attend classes.

Pack of 4 palettes - excellent value for money. The palettes are sturdy without being clunky. I like the layout with good size wells for paint, a bonus is that there is an additional pull-out mixing tray in the lid, so plenty of room for mixing colours. I like the click-lock fastening, making the palettes secure and very portable. They clean up easily too.
