Good quality and exact size
I used this band to restore my Beyer T1 1st gen whose original leather band had practically disintegrated. The length of this replacement band is exact for snugging under the sliders. Great look and feel!

Perfect replacement, like new again
This Dekoni Audio headband replacement is absolutely excellent! My old Beyerdynamic headphone headband was worn out and this replacement has completely transformed them. The Choice Leather material is premium quality - soft, supple, and incredibly comfortable. Installation was surprisingly easy with clear instructions. The stitching is impeccable and the build quality feels very durable. The padding is generous and provides much better comfort than the original. My headphones look and feel brand new again! The fit is perfect for my DT series headphones. The leather has a nice texture and seems like it will hold up well over time. Outstanding product that saved me from having to buy new headphones!

Does NOT fit DT770
Does not fit the dt770 pro's, band is 1cm too long and cannot be installed properly. The ends are stitched so it cannot be trimmed either. Don't bother with these if you have dt770s!!

on the long side
this headband is slightly too long and overlaps the inside of the sliders a bit and to fit to the DT880 I had to disassemble the sliders, else the velcro is almost impossible to get to sit flat under the slider metal tabs. once on it looks and feels decent, despite the slight overlength

Underwhelming
Feels very cheap, not enough padding, and it's slightly too long.

Fits the Audeze Maxwell. For now.
This pad has worked out for what I was looking for. The Audeze Maxwell headset has a leather headband with only 3 sets of holes to adjust the height. Unfortunately for me, my head size was between the 2 smaller sets of holes. I first got a 2 inch leather strip, traced the original leather, cut and then punched some holes for my correct size. It worked just fine but I couldn't manage to cut well enough to make it look polished. Also the leather I used was a lot cheaper quality than what I thought I ordered. I was going to look for a better quality leather strip and try again but then I stumbled onto this dekoni one and thought I'd give it a try before I went through the hassle of making my own again. It looked like it would add just the right about of girth to the existing headband to make it fit my head. I was right! It fits perfectly now with the second set of holes and looks way better than the monstrosity I had created with the cheap leather. Not only did it make the fit better but also added the sorely needed padding on the strap. Only thing was that I had to stretch the dekoni a little bit towards the middle of the band because the Maxwell band is wider in that part. Time will tell if it stretches to the point of ripping the seams but so far it hasn't been an issue. If it does, I'll probably get another one and trim the existing strap or just cut another leather strip out and wrap this around it. All in all, I highly recommend for the Maxwell.

Not as padded as they claim or make it look
In person, this item is definitely not as padded as they make it sound in their written description or pictures. This is no more padding than the DT headphones already have. I would only buy this is you actually have to replace your headband. The material is soft, yes, but if you have hair it doesn't really matter as you aren't feeling the fake leather with your scalp. I will likely be returning this item and looking for better options with more padding.

Comfortable, quality, affordable
Highly prefer this over the stock pleather headband included with my Beyerdynamics. This is much cooler to wear for longer periods of time, won't crack, and just looks cleaner using Velcro as opposed to buttons for fastening. I been using this heavily for over a year and it still looks new - definitely recommend

I bought it for DT990 pro and it's not a perfect fit. The length is slightly too long and the width requires you to stretch it a little for the Velcro to stick. It's barely enough to hold it in. The leather feels thin, padding is also thin and doesn't have the "slow rebound". Overall quality and fit is OK at best. Feels bare minimum. Comfort wise, the "leather" does feel a bit nicer than the original, but that's about it. Definitely not worth the asking price($32). Get it on a heavy discount.
