This is a fusion of coffee and sea salt and is a delicious addition to chocolates and desserts. It can also be a unique addition of subtle coffee flavor in rubs and marinades. We use in our Cowboy Red-Eye BBQ Rub and American Chili Seasoning to infuse a subtle coffee background flavor. This espresso salt could be used as a pairing with nutmeg, anise, vanilla, cherry, hazelnut, raspberry, etc. To use the Grate Grinds Espresso Sea Salt, grind the salt into a rub or marinade as you would to replace the salt you would have normally used. You can also use this as a finishing salt to grind on the top of a steak, pork chop, chicken breast or dessert.
