Took a bit to get it to stay on
Took several attempts using different plug adapters before I found one that would work w/ this light. It kept turning back off after only being on a second or 2 til I found the right adapter for it. Needs greater than a 2 amp adapter. But when I found the right adapter: OH MY GOSH! This thing is BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT!!! If that doesn't wake me up & get me going, nothing will! I feel like I need sunglasses! But it does have a dimming feature so it's fine. I think I'm going to love this once I get to using it regularly. Very simple and plenty of setting options. Looks sleek, modern, & very nice. Nicer than the ad pics. There's no need for a bigger one as bright as this is. Price was good too.

Works well and is SO thin! But be sure to read about how to use it.
Like many other reviewers, I love that this lamp is so thin and portable, and that it uses any USB-C cord. (If your cell phone uses a USB-C charger like mine does, you probably have a million of these cords around the house already.) I've been using it every day for a week and a half, and I genuinely feel like I have more energy. It's been great so far!One thing: if you're using the lamp for the energy- and mood-boosting benefits, you really need to use it the right way. That means using it in the morning (at night is a terrible idea for your circadian rhythms), a minimum of 20-30 minutes at a time, every day (not just once in a while), only 1-2 feet away from your face, and at eye level or a bit higher. It's recommended to have it slightly to the left or right of your face too: at the 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock position. There are articles online that will tell you all of this; it's based on many years' worth of research.If you want to use this as a simple lamp--to light up your reading material, for example--that's fine; it's definitely bright and will do the job. But if your main goal is to goose your suprachiasmatic nucleus into producing more serotonin than it otherwise would (e.g., to combat seasonal affective disorder), you really need to use it the right way. Like I said, it seems to be working really well for me so far, so I highly recommend it!
