Not safe. I purchased this for a safe options to keep my twins warm at night, however I would be better served with just tightly tucking them in with blankets.That is because the kneck area of this is very wide and also in a v-shape. This means the babies can wiggle and pull this enough to partially cover their face. Most importantly it covers their nose and mouth.I would avoid this product for something that fits better and doesn't risk suffocating your babies

At first when I unboxed this I thought holy cow this thing is gonna sit for years before my kid is big enough to fit in there, but once I got her zipped in it’s crazy how much space they fill out. We use this every day for naps and nights in lieu of blankets which I don’t like using in the crib. My 6 month old is 20 something pounds and fits great in the medium- it’s fitted on top with lots of leg room at the bottom. Unzips easily up from the bottom for quick bootie changes. Couldn’t live without this.

I bought two of these sleepsacks from a different URL, one where they’re both sold by and shipped by Aden & Anais. Those ones have the IDEAL zipper where there’s two hand grasps and they run both ways, meaning you never have to try to fit the two sides of the blanket together to get one end of the zipper into the other. A game changer when you’re laying down your little one in a dark room and trying to zip them up. I was disappointed when I ordered this sleepsack to find that you have to connect the zipper together at the top before zipping down.

Baby loves it, but I don’t like that the zipper starts at the top and zips down. It’s come undone a couple of times at night abs bothered my baby, and feel like it could be a hazard. For that reason I’m giving it 3 stars. Other than that, it’s roomy, warm and my baby sleeps well in it overall. Wish the zipper was made differently, then it would be perfect. Also, it’s pretty warm, fleece material, so it’s definitely for winter or cold months. My baby is 10 mos and about 20lbs , 31 in, and fits well with a quite a bit of extra leg room for him to love around in the Medium.

This sleep sack is very soft and warm and my daughter seemed to love sleeping in it. But, the zipper was always a little strange on it and the slider on the zipper broke off entirely after a month, leaving the sleep sack non functional. We’ve had several halo swaddles and this was never and issue, so I’m assuming we just got a defective product, but regardless, will purchase a replacement from a different brand.
