Great addition to an impact driver!
It works very well to reduce impact and the magnet secures holding whatever fastener is being anchored. Removing it from its packaging will take some serious effort.

This IS Magnetic!
This bit holder DOES have a bit holding magnet inside, in addition to an internal retaining ring. Other reviews claiming it does not have a magnet are incorrect. Is the magnet strong enough to retrieve an engine block from the ocean floor? Probably not. The magnet in this case is meant to help retain the bit, not the fastener.

Just another average bit holder
This is a joke right? This bit holder is just as good as a simple bit holder except it weighs a ton its bulky and not very practical. I think I'm going to put it on a shelf somewhere out of the way

Pretty Good!
Holds the bit pretty well. I've used it extensively since getting it and it is holding up great. The only thing I can say I don't like about it is how wide it is but I'm assuming that contributes to the strength. So I can't complain too much about that.

Great product to prevent stripping screws
I use this to assemble furniture and other items. I know I won't over drive screws and strip them with this tool.

This little thing is magic
I have no idea how the science works but it helps a lot! Great addition!

Do not expect high torque
I go through many bits when building (mostly framing and decks) projects. Good bits are getting too expensive. I thought I’d give this bit saving holder a try. First use under my belt, and I’m gonna have to give it a pass. Just barely though. It works well when driving shorter screws into softer woods. However, when I tried to use 3” nbr 8 woodscrews into hardwood mantle, the holder would not provide sufficient torque. The bit saver function started slipping and I couldn’t seat the screws. It did prevent bit breakage? And it seems sturdy? I’ll use it for lighter work, but I’ll put it away for larger screws.
