I have used this car seat cover three times already and it has been a godsend. My Australian Shepherd mix is blowing his winter coat, but has had to go to the vet a few times in the past couple weeks for ear infections. I had another seat cover but it ripped after 2 times of using it because it was flimsy made and that is not the case with this seat cover at all. It has protected my seats from gobs of hair effortlessly as it gives full coverage for the backseat. It is a nice thick quilted cover and nothing like the cheap one I had before, this one seems built to last for a long time. Quality is what you get when you order this seat cover. My favorite thing of all is that it has velcro opening to slip in the included seat belt straps that help to keep my babies safe in the car. It is the best car seat cover I have ever used for my furbabies and I expect it to last for a long time

We just bought a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL with leather seats. The car is pristine and low miles so we want to do what we can to keep it this way. Our biggest concerns were his nails causing marks or divits on the seat and window ledges. He's terrible about having his nails cut and I can never get them short enough. This unit seemed to have the best coverage for the seats. While we haven't road tested it yet I can not forsee him causing any seat damage with this cover on it. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have little tubes of material made from the same material and slide them over the straps that go around the base of the headrests. I'm a ilttle concerned that the buckles or straps could leave rubbing marks on the leather. I will probably do this myself. Dewy has always been strapped in the rear seat by his harness. In our previous car I'd tie his leash from his harness to the seatbelt which got tedious every time I had to put him in or take him out of the car. The seat belts that are included are very handy. Now I can leave them attached to the seatbelt clasp and just have to snap the other end to the back of his harness each time. I do worry that they should be as wide as the standard car belt for strength. Keeping him safe is important to me. He weighs around 50 lbs and I've always refered to his legs as "pegs of steel" because that's what it feels like if he stands on you. The covers should also take some of the pressure off the seats. My unit arrived missing the seat belts but the company got them out to us immediately and gets high marks for responsiveness. I have the side flaps tucked down between the seat and the molding. The Fusion is considered a midsized car and the seat portion fits fine. I looked at cheaper models of this type of seat cover but the portion between the rear and front seat was thinner material and not quilted so I passed. I expect this seat cover will keep the car much more free of dog fur too.Update: The item is billed as "waterproof" but I did not find it so. We went camping with a cooler on the rear seat. Someone left the plug out and in short order the seat protector was soaked. I still give it 5 stars as the main reason we bougtt it was to protect from fur. However if waterproof is important, then spray it down with Scotchguard.

I actually like this car seat covers more than I expect. I have purchased a diff style earlier but that did not do the job I had wanted. The cover is just right to where it covers the back, side and the backside of the front seat to prevent the dog from jumping forward. I don't care for the fact that it is black and during the summer it would end up being a little bit too hot. (I will update on this when summer hits since it's winter right now)The underside of the cover is well padded in a quilted pattern to prevent the nails of my dog from ripping it up. And underside is breathable for when she lays down onto it.. Having 4 buckles snaps for each of the headrests works really well since you are in a position to tighten or loosen it. Even if your headrest does not lift up the buckle snap vinyl snaps still will work. Since I have a custom car seat already on my front seat I was still able to use the buckle to snap in place.This also serves as a good item to have while shopping. I would place my shopping bags items under the hammock under the back seat which makes a good covering for those would be car thieves.All in all, I would recommend this product. Overs fully for mid-size cars (which is what I have). Washable. Adjustable buckle straps for even cars that do not have the head rest that lifts up, Velcro compartment to pull the seatbelt buckle out.Small pocket to place wet wipes just in case your pup has an accident.Con: Only issue I have is that it only comes in black. I want to see it come in other colors to match the interior of the car seats.Would I recommend this? Yes, I sure would.On my particular cover, there are some stitching that did not catch so it is coming apart. I sew so I am able to fix this issues later. Just inspect your stitching.There then that I would recommend this hammock car seat cover.
