Difficult To Remove Zippo
Overall the item is good quality but it takes a bit of technique to get the lighter out. One option is to use the pouch upside down but the lid on the zippo still likes to come open and hang up even then. I found the best way to get it out is to have it right side up and apply pressure on the hinge side of the zippo as you pull it out and then the lid doesn't come open and hang everything up.

It's too small... but there's an easy fix!
Ok, so it's too small for my zippo, so I decided to boil some water. I poured the boiling water into a cup and dipped the pouch into it, left it for about thirty seconds. This softens up the ridged plastic-like interior. After about thirty seconds carefully remove it from the cup, pour out the water that's collected inside the pouch and while it's still hot, start pressing and massaging it until the whole thing softens up. You have to squeeze hard at first and maybe give it a second thirty second dip and a second squeeze session. Now my lighter slips in and out just fine! just work it while it's good and hot and it'll soften up. Just take your time, and don't scald yourself. You want it hot enough to re-shape but not so hot that it's painful to touch.

Black Nylon Lighter Pouch
This pouch is ideal for anyone who doesn't want to carry their lighter in their pocket. I wear a tool belt quite often and this pouch with a lighter just for the pouch is what I keep handy when I wear the belt. Also comes in handy when I am wearing gloves and don't want to take them off to get at the lighter. Lastly, I hate my lighter to be in my pants pocket right after I fill it. It tends to turn upside down and I end up with a chemical burn on my thigh from the leaking lighter fluid.I would like to address all the comments about the pouch being tight and difficult to remove the lighter. I own nothing but Zippo brand lighters so I can only address those, and specifically those that fit into this pouch. When you receive the pouch, of course it is going to be stiff; it's never been used! If you slip your lighter into the pouch, it will be difficult to pull out of the pouch. What tends to happen is you will pull on the top of the lighter, the hinged lid will open and then you have to try other ways to pull it out. What is happening is that the lighter hinge is catching on the sewed nylon seam. What you need to do when you first get the pouch is to soften it. The actual pouch (which holds the lighter) is stiff nylon. Bend it, flex it, work it back and forth. Flatten it, work it some more. Don't mess with the backing with the belt loop and don't bother with the snap flap. Just work the pouch itself. Then put your lighter into the pouch, hold it in your left hand and grasp the bottom of the pouch with your right hand with your thumb at the bottom of the pouch pointing upward. Push your thumb against the pouch and your lighter should pop right out. If it doesn't, flex the pocket some more. Mainly you want the bottom of the pouch to be able to flex when you press against it. When you have the pouch on your belt, you probably won't use your thumb to slide the lighter out but will use your first two fingers instead to press at the bottom of the pouch.Last bit of info is on the size of the belt loop on the back. I wear this pouch on a belt that is just a bit over 1½" wide and it is snug. A narrower belt will allow some movement, which might be good or bad for you.A good pouch at a good price. Just spend a few minutes breaking it in before you get upset about not being able to get your lighter out easily.

Too small.
This pouch is too small for regular sized Zippos.

Fits perfectly, almost too perfectly
I was tired of not being able to carry certain zippos for fear of my keys scratching the image off. I decided to save a few bucks and buy the non official zippo pouch. First time I put my lighter in it I had quite a struggle getting it back out. I left a lighter in it overnight to let it stretch and it was easier to get it out that morning. It has been a few weeks now and after daily use it comes out easily enough but is still secure.
