Very impressed for the money I payed for this combo (payed £44.99). Turned up with no issues or damage. Rod is very sensitive and reel is very smooth. Had a great day with my son stalking perch and bagging up. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely atrocious, my son bought one, the tip snapped while fishing, he got snagged and pulled and the rod just snapped 12 inches from the tip, hardly any curve at all, I bought him a replacement, it arrived and on the first cast with a light lure the tip snapped in a similar place, it's like these rods are made of glass, my son was very upset! He used my light shakespeare ugly stik and some how foul hooked a 3 - 5 pound carp which bent the rod all over the place but it still reeled the fish in. It's a shame, he was really looking forward to adding an Abu Garcia rod to his collection but his experience has really put him off. The one good thing about this is that we were refunded for both rods.

Amazing bit of kit. Looks incredible, absolutely obsessed with this combo, Only problem I have is the line is stacking on top of the spool but because it was bought as a combo there’s no reel box with spares in it. Apart from that definitely worth the money.

Fantastic rod and reel.disapointed with the packaging box arrived opened no wrapping around the rod and reel or invoice. The delivery driver said it was like that when he put it on his van.

Came bent and broken

Great value for money. Didn't come with a rod bag though had to buy this seperate. Also unlike some deals reel not fitted with line.

I got my fishing rod and reel in good time but when I opened it the handle is missing from the reel. I need a handle far Thursday as I'm going away on holiday
