This brand is really good for a Home user or somebody just starting out. I am a retired nail technician who spent 11 years in the industry and I have paid above and beyond for some brands purely down to names. This little brand is perfect; for me now only doing my own nails the smaller bottles are ideal because you still get probably 10 sets per colour; maybe more because I haven’t actually used up a bottle yet so I couldn’t tell you. The colour selection is lovely and I have to say that the basecoat and the topcoat are one of the best I’ve used. Some of them more expensive brands I found would start lifting or getting pockets but this stuff stays on! However, it still removes really well; no scraping of the nail or spending half an hour wrapped up with acetone. 10 minutes and it’s ready to go! My only criticism is that I’ve bought a few of the collections now and some of the colours are repeats and I do see some areas where there are colours missing that would match what the market wants but that is my personal preference. The application is very easy, it’s easy to use, easy to control and hard to get wrong. The colours last for three weeks easy until I am ready to change and remove my colour and they look really nice!

I absolutely love Beetles products they are my go to for most of my supplies as I am a nail tech. The colours are very pigmented however I recommend using quite a lot of the gel to get that perfect shade other than that they’re great. I wish I could get bigger bottles but for the price you can’t complain, the value for money is amazing. There are no bad smells whatsoever and I’ve had no problem with the nails not lasting the polish has great durability.

I tried Beetles gel nail polish last year and haven't looked back at any other brand. I did my own gel nails a week ago and they're still going strong. Beautiful range of colours and I love the Matt top coat too. I cure around 60 seconds each layer and haven't had any problems. They aren't flaking or chipping. The consistency is great, not thick and gloopy. I tried removing an old design and it took a few layers of nail remover gel but I put that down to the brand of gel nail removal. I still have lots more to experiment but very happy so far!

I was never prepared to pay for having my nails done, so have also done them myself. However, during lockdown I wanted to try gel nails, which is something I'd never done before. I did my research on YouTube and forums and there was a repeated pattern of Beetles gel nail polish receiving good reviews. I purchased this Manhattan colour range and I've not been disappointed. The instructions were clear, but more importantly the polishes have been simple to use, with good coverage and vibrant colours. I used thin coats and for the darker tones, two coats was enough, however I used three for the lighter colours, but this is really down to personal preference. The pack came with base, top and matt coats included and again I have no complaints. I was not expecting the polish consistency to be as thick as they are, but this just means you can afford to use less when applying each thin coat. I was initially disappointed with the small size of the polish bottles (.17fl.Oz), but again the thickness means a small amount goes a long way, plus you get a varied range of colours to try. There was no strong smells and unlike normal polish, because you have to cure it (using a LCD/UV lamp), you can take your time and clean up as you go along resulting in a neat, tidy finish. There was no chipping or lifting even with all the day to hardships our hands go through, and the only reason I removed the polish was because my nails grew. I have become obsessed with the Beetles range and made my brother 'voluntarily' purchase me the Bare collections range for my birthday! Nice packaging makes for easy, secure storage and I think it's reasonably priced.

I was pleasantly surprised by these gel polishes. It's not a brand I usually use and was unsure but they are absolutely brilliant! My gel nails usually last 3 to 4 days if I'm lucky, after trying these for the first time I knew straight away they were going to last longer and they did. They apply smoothly. A week on and they still look fab apart from the gap where my nails are growing out but that's to be expected. There was no peeling, no chipping and the selection of colours are excellent. I'm not going back to my other brand, I'd highly recommend these. If you know how to prepare your nails before applying the gel and cure for the correct amount of time etc then these will last for a good amount of time. Very happy and ill be ordering more colours in the future.

Some of these varnishes I’d give 5 stars others I’d give 1 hence the 3 star review. I wanted to like these as they’re soooo many colours, choices and options but I think I’m going to try a different brand. Firstly some of the colours are beautiful and glide on perfectly but then most of them are either so runny they drip off the nails or so thick they are difficult to even get out of the bottle. I’ve tried numerous things to try and get them all to the right texture and nothing works. And the brushes on these are shedding terribly which is another big issue I was having trying to work with them. The base and both top coats are lovely tho and will definitely use them along with the few colours that are working :)

Great quality, easy to use and have lasted five days with very minor (you can’t see them unless you are looking up very closely) chipping. I am very impressed by the variety of colours you get. Yes, the bottles are small. But think of it as a taster. Figure out the colours you like, minimise wastage and buy your favourites later on. The colour I used only needed two coats and went on very even. It was applied on my natural nails. I never use gel polish and this was a first for me. It was super simple and easy :) I’m into these products!
