Product is great, the price is a little higher than expected.

This is the second DaVinci Labs product I have tried. It also gave me a good initial impression. As the instructions don’t suggest mixing it with a specific amount of water, I mixed it I mixed it with 12 ounces (as many supplements I have tried suggest 8 to 12 ounces). It fully dissolved after some extra care on my part to mix it thoroughly and the color is in the maroon family per my photos. The aroma is very nice and the taste is nicely fruity; I would not guess raspberry but there is a hint of that flavor in there. It is mildly sweet and reminds me of gummy sleep aid tablets I use on occasion. To me. it does not have a Stevia leaf extract sweetener taste/aftertaste and is not overly sweet (using 12 ounces of water). It’s certainly worth noting that each serving is 50 calories. I was pleased to learn from the DaVinci Labs website this product: + is made in the USA in a SQF certified facility that adheres to cGMP outlined by the FDA ◦ Note: SQF = Safe Quality Foods (global) Institute); cGMP = Current Good Manufacturing Practices + and the ingredients used are hypoallergenic and not artificial This product (and the other I tried and reviewed) have the CA (California, USA) state warning label (Proposition 65), something I have seen on other products including on the OEM refrigerator water filter made by one of the world leaders in appliances. Initially I did not see anything on their website about the warning, and in fairness to DaVinci Labs, contacted them before writing either of my reviews of their 2 products which I received at the same time. A customer service representative responded quickly; here is the pertinent portion of their response: [START of partial DaVinci Labs response] “In accordance with California’s Proposition 65, our product label includes a warning that follows the specific format mandated by that state, alerting consumers to the potential presence of trace levels of certain substances such as lead or arsenic—even when these levels fall well below federal safety limits. For example, Proposition 65 mandates a warning for products that may expose consumers to more than 0.5 micrograms of lead per day—an amount that can be found in about half a cup of fresh spinach. This law is uniquely stringent and applies even to trace levels that are commonly found in soil, water, and many natural plant-based ingredients. Because our supplements include naturally derived ingredients such as botanicals and minerals, they may contain minuscule, naturally occurring traces of these elements. Our quality assurance protocols include comprehensive testing to confirm that any trace levels of naturally occurring elements remain within safe and acceptable limits, as determined by regulatory and scientific guidelines.” [END of partial DaVinci Labs response] I am particularly cautious when it comes to products I am ingesting, and to me their explanation is very reasonable and makes me feel comfortable about using this product. Revisiting their website and searching more carefully, I found 2 pages explaining the warning label. There is a detailed explanation found by opening the DaVinci Labs website, hovering “OUR QUALITY” in the top menu of the page, then clicking “PROP 65” at the bottom of the menu that appears of the left side of the page. A much shorter summary page on Prop 65 can be located by scrolling to the bottom of the DaVinci Labs home page and under “OUR QUALITY”, click Frequently Asked Questions”, then type Prop 65 in the search bar and click the first result that appears. OVERALL, I rate this product highly (with a detractor being the 50 calories / serving) based on the company’s practices, quality, the scent, and flavor, and appreciated their transparency and responsiveness. The benefits / effectiveness of using the product would only make sense after using it for an extended time frame. Right now, for me it is 4.5 stars and I expect to edit it in the future when I can work in a longer trial.

I am always looking for new supplements to try, and this one piqued my interest because gut health is very important to me. The instructions are slightly vague with no guidance as to how much water should be added to the scoop of powder. I added ~12 ounces. The taste is pleasant-- light hints of raspberries that doesn't overwhelm the palate. The taste is probably the biggest thing this has going for it because taste can make or break a supplement. I did not notice any difference in gut health after taking this for awhile, but perhaps I need to take it for longer. Although I received a product to review, I can't help but notice the price of the item. At $91, I would expect much more immediate indication of the product's efficacy. Maybe this product will work better for you, but $91 is a lot of money to gamble on if there's no change to one's health.

The supplement itself is great. I'm always lookng for new supplements to aide in my gut health. The thing is, this is just so dang expensive. It's a great product and it tastes good and is effective, but I can't afford it every month at the price. Unless this is the ONE supplement that truly helps you, there are other supplements out there that I have tried that are similar for around half the price. The good thing about this is that there are no fillers and everything is natural. I trust the DaVinici Lab brand, so if you can afford this, I definitely recommend it!

This GI Benefits powder is easy to use and mixes well with water or juice. It tastes good with natural fruit flavors and supports digestive health and regularity. The formula with zinc and herbal extracts feels high quality and reliable. Only downfall is it’s expensive for a monthly supplement

I love everything this supplement has to offer for digestive health! I find it very easy to take, it mixes well with water, especially when using a milk frother whisk tool. The taste is not too strong of flavor, which I like, as it can be mixed into other drinks or smoothies without overpowering the flavors. I can taste a tiny bit of zinc and stevia, but it's super mild and mostly covered up by the berry flavor. All in all, this has everything I want in a digestive health supplement, while being convenient and enjoyable to take!
