Came out with suds?
Um I bought a thickening mask, I didn’t pay 70 plus dollars for shampoo. What even is this? Don’t waste your money

Worked to thicken hair a tad but not a huge difference
I really love the scent of this though the texture threw me off a bit. Most masques I have used so far are more of a cream base. This stuff suds up a little which made me do a double take with the package to make sure I wasn't sent a shampoo.Does this work to thicken hair? Kind of... My hair did feel mildly thicker and more volume after using this. My hair is normally long, straight, and not a ton of volume. This masque does seem to help make it thicken a bit and give it more volume but not so much that I think to myself wow this stuff really works wonders. For the price I had expected a huge difference. So does it do what it says? a bit... but for the hefty price tag that really expected to be wow'ed.Review For:R+Co BLEU Ingenious Thickening Masque, 5 oz

Basically an expensive conditioner that adds thickness to your hair
I had to check what this was before requesting it, as I wasn't familiar with "thickening masques". It's basically conditioner and that is the way that I have been using it, applying it in the shower after rinsing out my shampoo and leaving it in for about 2-5 minutes. It's really nice conditioner with a great scent, but of course, it should be for such an expensive product. It does feel like my hair is fuller and thicker since using this, but my hair is already on the thicker side, so it's hard for me to be 100% sure.

Very pricy and leaves my hair a little dry
This hair mask comes in a very chic and luxury packaging which you may expect based on the price. The texture is very thick so just a small amount of it would be enough. You just need to leave itr on hair for about 5 minutes and then rinse it off. I don't like how it makes my hair a little dry after each use.

Just ok
Some products from R+Co have been excellent but this is lacking. I haven't found any thickening products that really do a great job yet. They usually always leave buildup and this does. It does a nice job conditioning and helping me to dry and style my hair but as the day wears on it gets the feeling like product left in and I can't skip days washing my hair. I have in extensions so I prefer to go 2 to 3 days without washing. I really don't notice much thickening, not after I dry and straighten. Overall, for the price and the results it's not something I would purchase again.

Smells so good!
This is an interesting product. I've tried a lot or products from the R and Co Bleu line and am a HUGE fan. Interestingly, all of the products I've tried (i.e., Primary Color line, Repair Line, Thickening line...) have the same fragrance - except this. Even the Ingenious Thickening shampoo and conditioner have the same R and Co Bleu fragrance, but this is different! Either that or my nose isn't working. It smells great, don't get me wrong. It's similar to the other products, but this had gardenia in it (my favorite scent) and was more floral (obviously) than the other products. Just an FYI.The performance of this masque is not may favorite of all of the R and Co products. I have color-treated hair that I wash and dry probably too often and use a flat iron to tame this head of wavy mess regularly as well. I've found for my hair type, the Primary Color masque is the best followed by the Repair masque. This masque left my hair feeling like it needed more conditioning, more hydration. It might be the perfect product though, if you have fine, less full hair.Is it worth the cost? That's going to be an answer only you can answer. With my favorite R and Co products, I would say "Yes!" Not only are the products amazing for your hair, the packaging is modern, beautiful and made from recycled materials. The fragrance is so beautiful, it honestly makes me look forward to showering. You can't say that about a lot of products, and that matters when you have to get up very early in the morning.Recommended for fine hair that needs volume!~Amy

Heavy, and pricey too
R+Co's BLEU line has been kind of hit or miss for me. I always expect to be wowed by my results but am often underwhelmed.I'm glad I waited and used this product several times before I wrote my review. My experience has been the same each time, so I know the odd results don't seem to be just a fluke.I have naturally fine, wavy hair. Sometimes I straighten it, and I always find that my hair feels so much thinner when I do because I miss the volume my waves give me. So when I know I'm planning to straighten my hair, I always reach for volumizing or thickening products when I wash it. First day, awesome results. My hair feels thick and bouncy. Love it. But then it all kind of falls apart. From the second day onward, my hair feels heavy and greasy. I normally go four or five days between washes, but after using this product, I usually cave and rehash after just three days.Based on my experience, I would say maybe this product is best suited for folks who wash their hair with a greater frequency than I do. Daily or every other day, perhaps. Now, my hair gets dried out if I wash it too frequently, so I'm not super excited about a product like this one that accelerates my wash cycle plans. That's kind of a bummer. So, big question, then, is, is it worth it? Because, at $73 a bottle, as a potential buyer, that would be the first question I'd want an answer to. In my opinion, based on my experience with this product, I'd have to say no. I can think of several thickening masks that do a better job, don't make my hair so greasy I feel compelled to wash it sooner, and cost half as much (or less).BUT. If this is in your budget and you already wash your hair frequently, this product may be a good fit for you. I wish it were for me.

Works well on thin hair
I am not sure this product necessarily thickens my hair, but it definitely add volume to my very thin hair. 5-10 minute of application in the shower - and voila! Bouncier hair. The price bites, but otherwise I am thoroughly enjoying my free sample while it lasts. Wouldn't be able to afford this on my own.
