Superman 5 Film Collection (DVD)

Liked the original movie and wanted the series.

The Superman 5 Film Collection is a nice collection of five classic superhero films at a good value. It makes a great gift for fans. I would purchase this set again; five stars.

This is a very nice set for the price and it works for me. I wanted to watch superman and all apps wanted you to rent them. Why? It much cheaper to owe it than rent it. Now I can watch it anytime. Thank you, Seller for the great price.

I'm not going to review the individual films, if you're considering this set than you must already be interested in owning these films. The set itself is perfectly fine for what it is- an almost bare bones, affordable (I bought it at about $10) DVD collection of these five Superman films. One small issue is, at least in my set, the first disc, the one with the original movie (and YES mine IS indeed THE DONNER CUT) the disc is labeled as "Disc 2" however no other disc is numerically labeled. There is no disc 1, disc 3, etc... So I surmise that this disc came from some other set in which the original cut of Superman was one disc 1 and this, the Donner cut, was on disc 2. It throws the uniformity of the set off a bit but is a mild issue at this price point. As for it being the Donner cut. I wish it wasn't. I know I said I wasn't going to review the films themselves but...: Other than taking out the awesome scene where --- SPOILERS? --- --- the awesome scene where Clark reveals that he is Superman to Lois via her shooting him point blank, other than that change, I'm sure I'd much prefer the original, the what is it, the Lester cut?, than the Donner cut... Sure we'd miss the Brando bits right? but I think from what I heard in the director's commentary the ending of the Lester cut sounds much better with the "magical kiss" and I'm sure it's what I remember as a child. Anyway... All discs but the fifth one "Superman V" featured some sort of bonus feature. The director's commentary on the original film features Richard Donner and his sidekick and it's pretty nice. Like I say, decent and affordable collection of these five films. Cheers!

Esta opinión es para Superman Bluray 8 discos Italia, (a goku2010, haz el favor de meter el bluray en el reproductor, y verás como tiene audio en castellano, a pesar de que por fuera no lo dice (menos la pelicula de la versión de superman que no salió en españa y el dísco de extras, que sí vienen con subtítulos en castellano, igual que en la edición española)... al ser edición internacional, contiene audio en castellano. Lo compré por menos de 27 euros, y es uno de los pack más solicitados de Superman, al contener 8 discos. Recordad que para estas navidades se edita un pack nuevo con 5 discos, e incluso venden diferentes packs de 5 discos bajo el mismo nombre. Fijaros en la descripción que es el pack de ocho discos. La versión UK o la versión USA también serviría, al contener audio en castellano. Nótese que este pack de ocho discos suele tener un precio superior a 60 euros, e incluso llega a los 90.

やはり【スーパーマン】といえばコレじゃなきゃいけない。懐古主義と云われようが、リーヴ版のスーパーマンを越える事は不可能。 だって「本物」なのだから。 【マンオブスティール】は【ジャスティスリーグ】の一環と割りきってます。 ドナー版の２やディレクターズカット版、「電子の要塞」、低評の「最強の敵」でさえスーパーマンの超能力とクラーク・ケントの苦悩を充分にリーヴは表現している。 ダークな雰囲気やシリアス思考に走らなくても老若男女が受け入れられる様に「正義の苦悩」を表現してる。…と、比較、【マンオブスティール】批判みたいになってしまった…。 怒涛のDVD11枚組も買えず２のリチャードドナー版をレンタルで見た私もやっと購入出来ました。 初めて【スーパーマン】見た時に「こんなオバサン」と思ってたマーゴット・キダーが自分が大人になった時に「こんなにキュートだったっけ」と失礼ながらに思ってしまった。 画質や吹き替えに関しては映画好きなら察して下さい。 この値段と映像特典の充実感で多少の不満もぶっ飛びます。

Una raccolta che ogni appassionato della serie non può non possedere. La qualità video è buona ma altalenante (dipende dalla versione del film), ma comunque mediamente di alta qualità, con la prima pellicola, restaurata, che guida in testa. Ottimo anche l'audio originale rimasterizzato in 5.1 del primo film (quello in italiano è stato rimasterizzato solo per la versione estesa). Per i nostalgici, o i meno anglofoni, segnalo la presenza dell'audio originale in italiano (mono per la versione cinematografica del primo e del secondo, stereo per III e IV), fortunatamente, quindi, non ridoppiato Ci sono, poi, un mare di extra in cui perdersi. Unica nota negativa a margine: sui dischi inspiegabilmente (e stupidamente) non c'è alcuna indicazione che li identifichi (numero disco o titolo) per cui si deve usare la foto presente sul disco, o la lunghezza in minuti del contenuto (invece indicata) per provare a capire di che film si tratti.E siccome sono tutte foto simili (con Christopher Reeve in varie pose) è praticamente impossibile andare a colpo sicuro.

Ce coffret qui réunit l'ensemble des films SUPERMAN de 1978 à 2006 est vraiment splendide. Le packaging nous plonge directement dans l'univers et, son système d'ouverture est franchement bien pensée. La présentation des bluray en volet permet d'avoir instantanément l'intégralité des films. Le fait d'avoir (en plus des versions normales) la version longue de SUPERMAN 1 et la Richard Donner Cut's du second film (uniquement en VOST) ainsi, que l'abondance de bonus en fait un coffret complet et indispensable. Néanmoins, le manque de titre sur les disques ne permet pas de trouver rapidement le film souhaité.
