Simple DIY install. Money well spent
The best decision I've ever made since buying my camper. I'm in love with my camper all over again. No more GI showers with a 6 gallon tank of hot water for me. Endless HOT water now. The install was pretty simple in my Surveyor Pilot by Forrest River. I had to widen the opening by an inch. If your looking for an upgrade, look no further. The best that money can buy.

EXCELLET PRODUCT I RECOMMENDED 100 percent
WOW! What Can I say but this is a 10 Star if you had that Rating.Like all other I started doing my research on this product and I was undecided weather to purchase it or not. Just because of the few people that feel this product does not perform. I am SO GLAD that I did buy this product that I will be an advocate for this company anytime!I purchased this product and I install it myself I can tell you that the video on youtube is all it takes to do a successful installation. At the end of my installation I started the unit immediately and I got warm water however not too hot at first then my doubts started to sink in. However the next day I was able to call customer support and immediately after 5 minutes of troubleshooting we solved the problem. It turn out to be a bad LP regulator on my 5th wheel camper. The tech guy from Precision Temp basically told me to turn all burners on my stove and then crank the hot water and see if the flames go down, sure enough it did. Well needless to say after I went to the campground store in less than 10 minutes my problem was solved.NICE HOT water I took an hour long shower to test this equipment water temp from the faucet 50 degrees incoming outgoing about 130 degrees perfect HOT water all I wanted no running out of hot water anymore. Our 5th wheel has two full bath Heritage Glenn 356QB model. I open all the faucets and the two showers at the same time and all HOT water. What a Nice Product! my only regret is not doing this before. If you are undecided about buying this product or any questions about it I am happy to share any questions about my own personal experience with it. [email protected] send me an email there and I gladly will help.Regards to all

CRAP. Does not work!
We have had this unit for about 3 years and it has never worked. We have been in and out of the house so we missed the return window as we were working with their customer service to get this thing to work. Some days it works and then with no changes to what we are doing, it will decide not to work. Too expensive and NOT recommended. Customer service calls you back and walks you through all these crazy things to do but it still does not work!!!

Nothing gets 5 stars from me but I love this product
Nothing gets 5 stars from me but I love this product. I very much like this unit though I will say it takes some getting used to when trying to dial in the temp of the water you want when showering; at least for us in our unit. I will suggest to leave the hot water valve fully open and gradually add cold water until desired temp is reached. I made a purely informational video of my installation posted here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2Rgc-uYCSs

No worries
Installed this in my motorhome I'm living in full-time. Didn't have to enlarge the opening , rather had to shrink it , used some 1- 1/2 aluminum angle that I ripped and screwed to the existing square tubing to center the unit in the hole. I didn't use there fittings they provided but sweated some copper fittings on the tubing at the rear of the unit with a extra drain tube with valve for draining the water while I'm gone during the week. Just to make sure it doesn't freeze while I'm away if the power is lost or propane runs out I live in Colorado. Perhaps I'll make a short video and post it or pictures if anyone is interested . Now to the jist of the matter , does it work?? Yes it does, just as advertised and others have stated there is a short learning curve on how to use it best with your individual set up but no worries it appears to be a solid American made unit. It delivers good hot water ,, silently and efficiently ! Yes it is pricey ,, but then it isn't junk . If you are looking for a tankless for your RV/MH this is the one you want !

Impressive unit
I love this unit. We live full time in our rig. When I started considering a tankless water heater, I heard a lot of pros and cons. This unit has erased any doubt that tankless is the way to go. My rig has a full sized bath tub and my wife loves that she can fill the tub completely with hot water. Although this unit is on the pricey side, it’s well worth the money. I did have a thermistor go bad but Precision Temps tech support walk me through diagnostics and got me up and running temporarily until the replacement part arrived. They were very helpful and impressive. Thanks Gary at Precision Temp.

Probably the best water heater for RV use.
This was a replacement for the existing water heater in my 1996 Dutch Star motorhome. It fit perfectly and the installation was easy. The only difference was the position of the water lines which was no big deal. It works perfectly.

worst decision I ever made
worst decision I ever made, this heater requires 1.5 gallons a minute to even start to heat the water wasting gallons each time you want any warm water which is impossible because as you adjust the temp to less than 1.5 gallons of hot it shuts off and gives you only cold water. I doubt if any rv pump can provide that much. Even with city water you may have to remove all iterators from your faucets to get that much flow, I had to. I spent$1150 on this terrible product and will sell it for half of that or give it to a friend to use for an outside shower, it works ok for that if you shower with your pressure as high as it will go but in California we are trying to save water
