I bought this scale to replace another brand's unit that failed do to accidental damage. I had tried a different brands top rated scale that did a lot more measurements through the use of a combination of a hand held and foot sensors; but I never could get that unit to work properly. As a result, I looked for one that was simpler but reliable and this unit fit the bill. The key features are: • It was easy to setup and synch with my iPhone • It supports multiple users and the smart technology recognizes user by body eight to automatically send the data to the right user, and if two users have similar weights you select the right user with your foot (which is easier than it sounds) • It saves the data, so you do not need for the app to be open and the phone nearby, it updates the data the next time you open the app • Data can be synched with third party apps • Rechargeable batteries saves on batteries and ewaste I am much happier with this scale than the $200 I had tried before it. It simply works and the app and scale have enough features for my needs.

I’ve been using this smart scale for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s way better than I expected. Setup took less than 2 minutes — the VeSync app connected instantly, and it synced right away with Apple Health on my phone. What I like the most is how consistent the readings are. Every time I step on it, the numbers make sense, unlike some scales that jump 3–4 pounds for no reason. The body fat and muscle mass readings may not be “doctor level,” but they give a very clear trend, which is what I actually care about. The scale also feels sturdy, stable, and looks clean in the bathroom. And the fact that it’s FSA/HSA-eligible was a nice bonus — basically felt like getting it at a discount. If I have to mention a downside: the display could be a little brighter, especially early in the morning when the room is darker. And occasionally, if the app isn’t open, the body-composition data doesn’t sync until I refresh the app manually. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Overall, this scale has helped me stay on track and actually see my progress — not just weight, but fat, water, and muscle changes. For the price, it’s honestly one of the best smart scales I’ve used. Highly recommend!

Have had this scale for a few years . We have had no issues with it at all . Works perfect . Has bluetooth and wifi to connect with your cell phone . Connects to the Vesync app from the play store . If you want to weigh and use all the features you have to get on the scale with no shoes or socks. Tells everything . Even displays weather . The app is great also .

After several months of use, this scale has been accurate, consistent, and easy to use, with a rechargeable battery that lasts several months before needing to be recharged. The digital display is clear and easy to read. The main advantage is the smart tracking features. I like being able to view body fat, water percentage, bone density, and other metrics in the app to track trends over time, not just weight. The only drawback is that your phone needs to be nearby for the data to sync to the app. It’s not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. Overall, this is a reliable smart scale that offers good value if you want basic weight tracking plus body composition insights.

Initially ordered this item at the start of a weight loss journey and have more metrics other than just a weight on a scale. The app that pairs with the scale is helpful as each family member can have a history of weight metrics. Even my children have their own weight tracking section, however as they are young children the additional metrics of BMI, metabolic age, protein levels, etc. are not included. I thoroughly enjoy that the app shows measurements on the following: BMI, Body Fat, Visceral Fat, Subcutaneous Fat, Metabolic Age, Heart Rate, Body Water, Skeletal Muscle, Protein, Fat-Free Body Weight, Bone Mass, BMR, and Muscle Mass. **NOTE** These measurements will not read unless you are on the scale without socks, essentially skin to scale for full measurements. When on the scale with socks the app will only register measurements for Weight and BMI, no additional facts will be provided. We keep this scale tucked under our couch and it fits nicely. Since our purchase of the scale in February we have only had to charge it once.

Great smart scale! Don't love the price but do love that I was able to pay for it with my FSA. I love that it connects to my phone and automatically calculates your BMI and BMR. I don't know how accurate the other measurements are, I feel like when only measuring just through electrical currents there is a good but od room for error. Even if they aren't the most accurate measurements though, they are consistent so you are still able to trend them and see overall what is changing. Instructions can be a little confusing when it comes to adding other people/profiles. Charges with a USB-C, cable is included but not charging block. Came mostly charged. I have only had it for a week so can't speak to how long the battery lasts or how long charging takes. You can check the battery from the app though. Unfortunately mine did have a small scratch but luckily not anywhere noticeable. It does come with a warranty.

Good: The scale itself is a nice sleek looking unit. In addition, it gives you additional Body Measurements. After the unit displays the weight, it tells you to step off and then presents you with some of the body measurements. Both my wife and I use the scale, and it "usually" (see below) remembers who is actually using the scale. App: Paired with the VeSync mobile app, you can see all the measurements, trends, and how they measure up against a standard. You can choose what you would like the scale to display and in what order through the app. Bad: The Heart Rate results are way off (almost 20 more beats than actual). It was so bad, that I turned it off. Like some other reviews, the scale sometimes behaves what I consider erratically. As I mentioned above, I turned off the Heart Rate option. Well, it turned this back on by itself. At times, it only does the weight and not the body measurements. It also at times forgets who's using it and I have to attach the "session" to me through the app. I've brought my phone in the bathroom with me and that doesn't seem to help. Will try to contact Etekcity support and see if they can help. App: In general, I like the app and the information it provides. The only issue I have is using it to change the display and order on the scale. I have been able to do this successfully, but I find it difficult to get to this screen.
