Trader Joe's Organic Pure Unsweetened Coconut Flakes 8oz (1 Pack)

When in CA I use to shop at Traders Joe and always had good experience so selected this brand for the flaked coconut. Not a happy camper. It appears to be stale, hard and yellow looking instead of the pure white that coconut usually is. Flavor is lacking as well, barely taste...very disappointed. Even my dog won't eat it and she loves flaked coconut.

I threw this away because it is not returnable. It looks more like course ground salt than flake coconut and it is very dry. I buy it at Trader Joe’s and it is delicious. I wish I had read the reviews on the seller. Stay far away! I expected the same product I purchase in the stores. This appears to have gone around the block a few times and at the bottom of the heap as well. I never even knew anything on Amazon Prime was not returnable. It was unopened.

Honestly, Publix organic unsweetened, or what i buy at Whole Foods is just as good and doesn't cost this much. I only paid this because the receipt called for BIG flakes...They are not that big...

I was worried the unsweetened version of flaked coconut would be dry, but I'm happy to report it arrived fresh and moist.

Excellent product! I put some in my smoothies. They don't carry it in the store by my house anymore.

It was very dry when I opened the package. I made a pie and it didn’t cook well. The coconut flavor was not present and the coconut was very chewy. I will not buy this product again. I only gave it a 2 because I believe it was coconut.

The quality is great. I Love this stuff. I use it in alot of recipes.

Used this coconut to make keto friendly sprinkles. Delicious, naturally sweet, crunchy.
