I have owned this saw for over a year now and it is still working strong and cutting like new even though I have not sharpened the blade, nor am I very diligent about oiling the blade. I live on 2 acres in Oregon so there are always trees to prune and downed branches to cut up, so it has gotten a lot of use. I am still surprised at how large a log you can cut without bogging down. I cut mostly fir, but a fair amount of apple and walnut. All cut fine. I am a longtime chainsaw user so I never expected this to replace a gas saw, but I also have a battery chainsaw with a regular cahinsaw blade and most of the time I use this instead. I only use the gas saw on large trees, but I still use this to remove the branches. I also take it camping as it is very small and lightweight and allows me to cut enough wood for a fire in just a few minutes. I have not had the charging issues others complain about, but I am still using the original battery. Not sure if a replacement battery can be found, but I'll still be happy about the purchase even if it dies tomorrow. I get nothing for this review, I just like what it is for the price point.

Arrived quickly, plugged in battery and was cutting branches within 2 hours. Worked great and fast on branches 1-2 inches. Super light weight which made it easy to hold branches down with one hand and cut with the other over my head. I wish I had gotten this sooner, it makes keeping up our yard much easier and convenient. Still pretty new so I have no way of knowing how long it will work, but at $40 price point and an extra chain it would be worth replacing in the future.

Good Quality for the price. Its very lightweight. I haven't really used it yet since there's snow on the ground, but I did run it, and I did upgrade to the 2 battery figuring I could be charging one as I use the other. I don't expect it to be a beast because of its size. It is convenient having this size when your climbing a tree.

We got a great deal on this chain saw! Easy to use, nice carrying case, 2 chains. Amazingly sturdy for the size and price. Now, when I'm mowing, I can easily trim any limbs as I go.

Living in Wisconsin has its beauty but it also brings work. During a recent snow storm, heavy snow brought down several limbs, branches, and small trees across my long shared driveway.I purchased this chainsaw for my use because I have never used a chainsaw and at this point did not wish to learn how to use a gas powered chainsaw. I thought it would be helpful if a branch came down or small tree (size limitation) to be able to cut it. I never dreamed that it was going to cut through a frozen 7 inch diameter tree without problem, yet this is EXACTLY what happened the first time I used the chainsaw. My two neighbors, both older males, were amazed at its durability & fast cutting. We had to work together to cut numerous branches. One neighbor had a gas powered chainsaw that lost the chain after the second cut on the ice covered tree. This was the first time I have ever used a chainsaw and I was able to do so with ease after having read the directions. I highly recommend this as a useful hand tool to be used with care, and by any one with regular chainsaw use limitations!! Impressive cutting and my neighbor had me order one for him! Battery was fully charged and lasted in 25 degree weather for about two hours- still has a charge nearly two weeks later.HUNTERS take note - clearing trails or shooting lanes this quick use light weight handheld and even fits in a pocket of a hunting jacket!CAMPING PEOPLE -- TRAIL HIKERS - easy fit in a backpack with a decent retention of charge.Me--now that I have it I am thankful I decided to buy! Great useful tool!

This handy little tool is great for trimming small tree limbs…..I’d say up to 3-4” diameter limbs. It’s quick and effortless.

I had my doubts when I ordered this item because of it's size and being battery operated. I have to say that after using this tool on everything from holly bushes to small trees and various bushes I am totally impressed with the power in this small tool and the ease of use. I would recommend this tool to anyone that has anything to do from pruning to cutting down tree limbs or even small trees. A five star rating for this one.
