Works very well! I cooked soup dumplings using the steamer and they turned out perfectly. Because of the washable porous inserts, the steam was able to access each level in the basket evenly. I also appreciate the cleaning and care instructions within as I had no idea how to take care of it for long term use! I have not yet used the dumpling crimper but will soon and will post once I’ve tested it.

Quality and value for money are great. This steamer I can use to cook different meals at one time. I use it for dumplings, xiao long bao, and the steaming capacity is great. The accessories are nice, I use the chopsticks and sauce. The dumpling maker is cute, but be careful with the exposed stainless steel edges; they are sharp. Cleaning is great, just wash with soap and water. Make sure to dry it completely before you put it away to prevent mold growth. You don't need to follow all those extensive washing instructions. The steam ring may bend out of place when it gets too hot. Don't worry, just put the steamer on top and you'll be fine.

I am replacing my old bamboo steamer. This new bamboo steamer is great quality and the recipes that came with it are excellent.

This works fine. Just be careful to store it in a place where air circulates. I was storing it back in the box when I wasn’t using it and discovered mold growing because there must’ve been some moisture left on the product.

I've never made Chinese dumplings before and I was nit super confident. The steamer basket worked perfectly!! And it came with clear instructions on care and a few little extras. This made the process so easy ans I can't wait to cook with them again.

Works nicely for veggies and for frozen items, such as pot stickers. Easy to use, very little clean up.

Negative(s): -Build quality -Dumpling press Do any of the negative(s) affect my overall rating and/or recommendation? No. Build quality seems good, although one of the slats appears to be broken. It doesn't affect cooking, but hoping it stands up over time. The dumpling press is made of maybe aluminum. Not very heavy or strong, but I don't plan to use it much as I order pre-made frozen dumplings anyway. Overall, this is a game changer for me instead of using a large pot and steamer attachment. I'm able to steam more food at once which saves me on cooking time. I also like how this comes with other accessories, which is better than other products out there that cost the same amount. So far so good after one use. I'm happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend this product.

This contraption is awesome!! I never knew I needed a dumpling steamer but now that I have one, I am able to go to the local Asian market and buy lots of different dumplings to steam at home. It is so easy to use. Just place it on top of a pot of boiling water with some frozen dumplings inside and wait a few minutes until they steam to perfection. Make sure to use the rubber mat that comes with it to avoid sticking. And obviously, make sure to use caution when removing to top lid as the steam has built up and can burn you if you aren't careful (as with any type of steaming). This really is a quality product. Additionally, I did use the metal dumpling maker once but found the process of making dumplings by hand too time consuming so I will stick with frozen which come out really good.
