The gasket on my old freezer is failing, but it $200 to replace. This little fix gently forces it to seal and holds it that way for way less money.

These were smaller than expected, but ended up being just big enough to do the job I had. The tolerances are really loose and they feel a bit on the cheap side. The biggest problem is the screws provided. The holes are countersunk, but the screws provided where button-head. Why? IT matters because the button heads interfere with the ability of the lock to fully shut, making it impossible to install a pad lock. I used my own flat head screws to resolve, but I shouldn't have to. In the end they worked, but I can't rate a product high if the product requires me to replace parts just for initial installation.

Strength of clamp was exactly what I needed

Threads on the locking loop are almost nonexistent so the first time I will use this it will strip the threads of and this unit will become useless!!!! If you order this you must check it out for yourself and return it immediately. Don't expect to keep this unit around without checking it, and expect to use it at a later date... you will find it to be junk at a point that you can't return it !!! Not worth the money I paid for it...JUNK and the nuts sent with it are not stainless!!
