Husband really likes them. He uses them while hes out in tall grass weed eating.

Good fit, protects against briars and thorny shrubs - haven't tested it against snake bites yet.

Bought these more for shin protection when weed whacking thick brush on my property. Once adjusted to my lower leg dimensions they stay in place over my boots. Thick plastic feeling inserts under canvas/cordura type material, but they're not heavy and I forget they're on when I'm working. I think they'd fend off potential snake bite as well if so needed when turkey hunting.

These are well made and fit well. The only thing I do not like is the little Velcro adjustment slider on the straps. This is cheesing out. They should replace it even if it costs a couple bucks more. Still giving 5 stars!
