The sockets appear to be well constructed and properly sized. The holder has a nice mechanism that holds sockets securely until they are swiveled to unlatch.

Cheap holder swap it out a metal magnetic one and your set, the sockets seem good!

This is the third one I bought every time I go to use it I can’t find it lol works as it should

I just got these sockets and i honestly haven't used them but they look great and based on some other tekton tools i have, i don't expect any problems. They seem well made and the chrome and etching look really good. I usually buy more expensive brands but i don't expect to use these much.The bad part is that the sockets are almost impossible to remove from the holder without some kind of tool. I could just barely remove the sockets by hand and the guy i worked with couldn't even get one free. I pried them off with a screwdriver and tossed the holder in the trash. Too bad because it was part of the reason i bought them. Based off the other review, it sounds like i might have just been unlucky though. Hopefully not all the holders are so out of spec.Edit: after reading another review, it seems that there may be a technique to removing the sockets from the rail. All the rails i have currently are the style that you just pull them straight off but apparently these are different. I already threw mine away so i can't confirm this.

I have been researching different hand tools to replace the ones I had that were taken when someone stole my toolbox. I found the Texton brand may not be as good as Snap-On but, they are at least 5 times cheaper with a no hassle warranty. The socket rail that the sockets were attached are worth half the cost all by themselves. The chrome was nice and the size was marked largely and well. Fit was excellent. These were great for removing studs from engine. I intend to purchase more Texton tools in the near future.

I've bought several sets from Tekton, well made, would recommend their products. This was an odd ball...have an old car that would randomly set off the emergency flashers because the button would pop up. Wrapped a belt around the steering column, good for awhile, then belt slipped off while I was at work, dead battery. Long story, bolts holding in multi-purpose signal switch in steering column used Torqx bolts...never knew they existed. Once I got the Tekton sockets, finished the replacement unit (unless you're a contortionist, pay someone else to replace this). Worth every penney.
