This carb bolted right up to my Honda Trx250. But, when I went to hook up the fuel line from the fuel tank, the hose was too big for the fitting and fuel leaked. Got that fixed and then discovered that the carb was dripping fuel from the drain hose. The floats were stuck. Once I fixed that, it worked fine. But, since this was a direct fit for my ATV, I should not have had to do these things to make it work.

The mount up is fine, however the throttle cable does not match up and neither does the fuel line, you’d need a fuel filter with a large adapter to a small hose adapter for it to work, which is the easier fix, the throttle cable however does not fit and for me I’ll have to have one made, a not so easy fix. More trouble than it is worth at this point. My atv is a 2005 Honda recon 250 for anyone with this model.

Do not waste your time or money. THIS is NOT a direct fit carburetor as they have indicted. The fuel line from the petcock is a different size from the carb fuel line. The throttle cable is NOT compatible with this carb either. Absolutely useless. Sending back. Seller needs to update their description on what this carb truly fits.

Carb bolts up fine, but original throttle cable that came with 4-wheeler will not work, still trying to make adjustments. more than likley will have to purchase new carb
