GREAT product for you Baofeng uv-5r!

Calling all preppers, off-roaders, tactical cosplayers, and anyone else who's discovered the gem that is Baofeng radios! I've been a fan of these affordable little wonders for years, using them for all sorts of adventures. But, there's always been one piece missing in my setup – a solid vehicle charger. Well, not anymore!I stumbled upon this adapter and, let me tell you, it checks all the right boxes. It's a nifty gadget that's perfect for my needs. In my Jeep, the Baofeng is mostly for scanning while I'm cruising around. I'm not into drilling holes in my dash, but I sure do enjoy playing the role of a curious onlooker.And that's where this adapter shines. It lets me be that ever-alert, snoopy scanner guy without ever worrying about my radio running out of juice. It's a game-changer for sure. This adapter works perfectly with the UV5R HT. It snapped right in and powered the HT with no problems. Remember, this is NOT a battery charger. It is a 12V DC adapter for use in your automobile 12V accessory outlet, or 12V power supply with an accessory 12V outlet.
