This thing is big, almost goofy big! Haha, I got this for my 5 year old for her birthday, and she absolutely loves this thing. She takes it to school with her. She takes it everywhere. And I've even caught her napping covered up with it. She gets sensory overload, and is a nervous little girl, so the constant ability to fidget with it, and pop the bubbles is very calming, and relaxing to her. The added little butterfly is an extra nice bonus for those places a GIANT unicorn maybe isn't ideal or appropriate. the smaller MUCH more manageable butterfly is a very nice back up. Especially In places with lots of people, or places we have to wait for long periods of time, so she remains calm and entertained for hours and hours. I strongly recommend this for kids who have sensory problems or anxiety. I also recommend this for parents to give to kids that just need quick entertainment or even those who travel a lot. Sometimes I forget I have a daughter when she plays with this in the back seat. (I don't actually forget about her.. but she does get very content and quiet) I can't say enough nice things about this super simple, easy, and oddly satisfying toy.
