The placemats are pretty. I ordered the yellow checked ones. When you wash them, they shrivel and wrinkle really badly, and even after they are ironed they don't look good. I'm real disappointed and wouldn't buy them again.

I had Christmas placemats that I loved for years. They began to fade so I had to buy a new set. I found one I liked last year, but not as much as the set I had to throw out. Then while browsing Amazon I found the exact same pattern & color combo w/o the fringe, which is even better, by this co. I got them yesterday, and the quality - even to the matching of each row of each one is outstanding! They are so perfectly made, that this co has a new loyal customer. I'm looking at everything they make now. And the value is unbeatable. Price and quality - I just couldn't be more please!!

I didn’t realize how large these would be but I love them. They are pretty thick which I like. The colors are beautiful. I have not attempted to wash them yet but I was able to wipe off a spill with just a damp cloth.

These are my favorite place mats ever. I love the seasonal colors as well as the everyday ones. My newest purchases were St Patrick’s and Teal. They do shrink slightly when washed and have a puckered look to them after that. But to me it just makes them look less formal and more homelike. They have good durability and last a while. I had some sets of six from last year but recently got a larger table and needed to purchase more to match. No problem there. They are still in good shape so I just ordered another matching set instead of having to replace them all. I’m so happy for these that I know I’ll be back for more!

Very nice quality table placemat settings. Purchased these for fall dinner holiday meal and pleased at how they look with my black tablecloth and black cloth napkins, along with gold napkin rings and other gold table decor. The placemats are of a thicker, stiffer quality, so I am not certain I would want to wash them in the washing machine. I think these would be best washed by hand, then ironed with starch to firm back up again. I havent actually done that yet. I will look for placemats in the future made by this company since these really are so nice.

Update: used during Christmas dinner. They washed well and didn’t lose color or shape! Very happy with this purchase!I only just received these so they haven’t been used, but the quality is wonderful and they were exactly what I was hoping for!!

These are perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Big, thick, straight stitching. I love them.

I wanted to add a bit more color to my mostly white kitchen. These placemats did the trick. They are also a bit larger than other placemats that I own. If I have the leaf in my table they fit nicely, but if I don't they overlap each other. That is certainly not a negative comment - just a matter of preference.
