14 Inch Quilters Slidelock Ruler Guide (Clear Arctic Ice)

Love it. I often have problems with my ruler slipping and causing me to mess up my fabric. With this ruler there is absolutely no slipping. Love it! Excellent product.

This ruler guide is one of the easiest pieces of quilting equipment to use that I have ever purchased. It makes cutting straight lines a breeze----does not shift once pressure has been put on the handle.

I bought it as a present for my adoptive mother-she is a quilter, and does a lot of sewing. She LOVES it- the ruler is sturdy, holds multiple layers in place, and provides a better cutting. Looks like we will be getting MORE hand made gifts)))

I got this for my wife for her birthday. She just told me that she cut through twelve layers of fabric without any of them "squirming". She has shown me some of the cuts and they are straight and even.Wife says it's awesome!

I have only had this item for 6 weeks and for the past week I have used it six times to cut 6 strips for my quilt. There is a defect in the wood on the top (which I hadn't noticed before) and it has started getting rough. I am confident that the splitting wood will only continue to get worse with time. While I like it somewhat, I will probably not purchase it again. I just noticed that I am 2 weeks past of being able to return it.

This ruler arrived with no grippers, the knobs that should be attached to the wooden handle and that should extend through the circular holes in the plastic ruler when the wooden handle is pressed down to hold the fabric. Also, there was no decal on the handle. Looks like a couple of steps were missed in assembly. Hard to believe these omissions were not detected during quality control inspection, assuming there was one. Disappointing, I have a 24" Slidelock ruler that use often and was looking forward to having a 14".
