Wellington Parts Corp 46RE 47RE 48RE 518 Governor Pressure Solenoid Repair Kit Heavy-Duty Borg (21350)

Ordered this kit after discussion with several transmission shops and online research. Kit arrived in a timely manner. Installing it was a little difficult as I am not an automatic transmission guy. But I followed the directions of a transmission guy and even adjusted the bands while the valve body was out. After the install I was concerned that I waisted my money and time.But I must have done it right because everything works as it should. My issue to start with was no 1st gear. And after installing this kit I am very pleased.Just make sure that you get the Borg Warner solenoid. You only get 1.I highly recommend this kit.

Shift solenoids work perfectly as does the governer pressure sensor. However I was sent the wrong governor pressure solenoid and my attempts to contact seller for a replacement have been ignored I purchased a governor pressure solenoid local and that alone it was more expensive then this whole kit. Quite a let down. this kit is a great deal assuming it came with all the right parts.

So I ordered this kit and it came really fast ..I opened it and it was missing one of the sensors. I was like oh here we go again .. so I contacted the seller and explained my issue . I got message back right away saying they are sorry and the part would be sent to me right away .no questions asked and it was here the next day . The kit worked awesome so thank you I would recommend this kit and seller to everyone

I have a 2001 Dodge RAM 2500 with the 47re transmission. It started having trouble shifting back down into first or not shifting out of first. I knew it was the governor pressure solenoid. I wanted to get in there and replace all the parts so I came across this kit. It was the perfect thing. It did however arrive with an OEM governor pressure solenoid and not the Borg Warner. I contacted the seller and without hesitation he made sure I got the advertised part. As it was the whole reason I bought this kit as the OEM one is undersized and prone to failure. Anyway with the correct part in hand I proceeded to swap all the parts from the kit. Once complete it shifts like bew again.

Our Dodge 2500 w/ Cummins, was having various shifting issues and ,from doing some research, decided on getting this upgrade kit. Installation went well and, once installed and clearing the computer, the truck drives and shifts like new. We are very pleased with the outcome.
