Best Gloves for working with Cactus.
These are the best gloves when working with cactus. Trust me ☺

working great
I was just looking for a decent pair of gloves, and these are better than I thought they would be. The touch screen finger parts work great, they are holding up very well and with the cloth, you can wipe your forehead very easily. The only downside I have is that they have no washing instructions, so I am going to have to take a chance on washing them.

They are ok.
These gloves are ok. My husband found something more comfortable that he likes better for half the price at Walmart. These look nice and feel protective, my hubby just didn't like the fit. Based on the other reviews, I thought I'd be getting something a little better than your typical work gloves, but these just seem very average to us.

Saved my hands!
Been working clearing a lot with lots of thorny vines. After a days work my hands would be a bloody mess. These gloves worked! The thick padding and leather palms work great for protecting! And still flexible enough to run a chainsaw!

Durable gloves, exceeding expectations
I bought these gloves because Outdoor Research discontinued their great work gloves. These are not the equal of the great OR leather gloves, but they are very good. I have been using them hard for two months, and fully expected the stitching to be failing by now. Not! Still in very good condition. Not totally resistant to thorns and thistles, but quite good if you are a little careful. Not fire resistant, but not supposed to be. Even so, I burned a couple holes in mine but the area around the burns is not failing! Recommended!Manufacturer, please add loops for hooking them on a belt, and a bit tighter cuffs. thx

Conflicting uses; thorns and touchscreens
The idea of putting touchscreen fingertips on thornproof gloves needs to be revisited. I used my new Vgt SL7475 gloves for 40 minutes then spent half an hour pulling very fine ( hard to see) barbed needles from the tip of my index finger. The pigskin patches work well, maker should use them on all fingers. IMHO

These do the job!
Nothing is perfect, but these are great.I can grab a berry vine and pull out a 20' vine. ...When I'm careless, I can still stick myself. I try to be careful as possible, and I avoid any problems. They're worth the $$,
