First these are good quality except the broken ones. I bought one package and found three missing points. I requested an exchange. The exchange package was missing 3 stars with another three the points were broke. I needed 100 for two US flags. so I made sure I needed to take the best of both for 100 useable stars. I think the price is high for this so to when they arrived as they did I found it extremely annoying.

I am delighted with my stars. I am making the American flag and having to make it to scale takes time and measuring. I wanted it to be perfect, as our flag deserves, and since it is wood, I wanted to measure twice and cut once. Actually, I measured more than twice. The stars fit the scale properly and are precisely defined with sharp, clean edges and a very smooth sanded finish. I secured the stars with construction adhesive and will drill pilot holes and further secure with fine brads. I left the stars and what is supposed to be the white stripes natural, with a natural stain applied to allow the wood grain to show. Then I purchased semitransparent stain in blue and red, which allows the wood grain to show through. With the precision stars I am excited that the flag will be all that I hoped for. I had planned on hanging it above the barn door, but am so pleased with it that I just might hang it on the covered patio wall and see it from inside the house.No matter what project you are working on requiring stars, you will be delighted if you select these.
