Good quality statue.

I went back and forth between the brown and black wood versions before finally deciding on the brown. For the most part, I was pleased but thought that the paint could use some improvement to make the figurines look more human-like and not so dull and rustic. Their faces and hair were brown and the jewelry paints were rather faded, giving them an overall dull appearance. So, using some acrylic paints purchased from Michaels, I repainted the red and green on the jewelry, added red and green to the headband, spray painted the silver earrings and his headband gold, touched up their faces and his lips with brown paint, painted her lips burgundy, and painted their eyes, hair and eyebrows black. In my opinion, adding these touches livened their look and now love them.
