My family and I do quite a considerable amount of off grid camping in our fifth wheel trailer and so far the installation was very easy and the reception is well above my expectations . I certainly recommend this product to all who are looking for an exceptional experience with tv viewing in remote locations.

Not exactly what i expected. Unless your withih 50 miles of antenna, reception is iffy.

Intended to mount atop a telescoping mast for tent camping but the 1" base mount of this antenna is too small for the mast. So for the inaugural use, simply had it setting atop a table and even with non-ideal mount location and poor height above ground picked up more channels and higher quality than about 4 other prior 'flat squar' hdtv antennas that were hung higher. So for this reason of reception improvement over all my prior hdtv antennas, 5 stars. Plus I think once I get the correct mast pole mount size and have it atop the telescoping mast, it will do great and is of strong enought material / thickness won't be concerned with wind damage. The antenna cord is sufficiently long probably for a 15' mast and enough to get it down to a nearby tv. About the only note is the instructions which said have the antenna pointed toward the signal but isn't this advertised as an omnidirectional antenna?!!!!!!! Anyways, still 5 stars but would have given it 4.5 for those sneaky use instructions that aren't mentioned in the sale description text.

bought this to replace one sortta like this one as it started losing signals and channels , our antenna was 6 y.o. , read a review of a person who had similar problems and fixed with a new antenna . this one is a little different in looks and color , came with everything i needed to exchange . instructions say to hook up in house to verify it works before putting on roof . we live in a pole shed house so all steel siding and roof . it didnt work inside !! wife held it out window while i scanned and we jumped up to 17 channels from 10 , so i took it to the roof and re scanned..... 50 channels and crystal clear !!!! fast shipping , great packaging

Purchased a returned item, had it up 10 minutes after delivery. Used existing pole and co-ax cable from previous antenna, and it picked up all but 1 of the 11 channels already programmed into TV. Each of these channels has a minimum of 3 sub channels, so actually picked up approximately 40 channels. Clarity is super! I'm 40 miles from any major antenna, and even with leaves on trees, getting great reception. Would certainly recommend.
