Good decoration
Actually sharp, decent quality. I’d assume for the price they’re only for decoration but looks quite nice. Very nice

Really nice
It was a lot sturdier then I expected. We have guns, tanks, and nukes now so im not going to comment on how i think it will do in battle. Looks- While sheathed the white and red look beautiful. The golden dragon on the handle really pops out. It doesn’t affect how it feels while holding and swinging it. So intruders will fear my dragon style swordsmanship. The red blade is a little darker then I expected so from a distance it looks black unless it is in direct light then you will be able to tell. but still looks really good. Durability and sharpness- for this price, you really cant get better. It feels really solid, no wiggling nothing. It arrives sharp so be careful around other people or animals. You can go out and cut fruit, sticks, and all that stuff. Really good practice sword for a great price!

Blade Isn't the color as the picture shows
Sword is made with great quality much stronger then my previous one it has a nice hand guard with a nice handle wrap but the reason for this not being a 5 star is due to the blades color it’s supposed to be reddish as in the picture but it’s orange and from far looks like a black blade swinging it feels smooth its balance is nice it’s just right and it fits nice in my room

Attractive and well made Katana (Twist Damascus Red Gold)
I really like the appearance of this Katana. The Twist Damascus blade is quite stunning and very sharp. The tsuka and Sageo are wrapped with a very distinct looking tape that really stands out. The tsuka, fuchi, and kashira are a bit overdone. Some might find it a bit gaudy what with all the gold on the fittings and Saya. Overall, the package is very attractive even if a bit overdone. The Saya is a bright black drizzled with gold paint. I find it pleasing to look at. If I had to come up with a criticism I would have to say that the fittings let it down slightly. But opinions vary and others might find it quite pleasing. The good news is that it’s very well made. Tight fitting and a very sharp blade. The transitions match up nicely. The Ito is tight, though not overly so but adequate. The red colored Samegawa is real. A real plus for me. For the price ($180) it’s hard to beat for what you get. Do I believe it’s worth it? Yes I do! (You may want to expand the pics for better viewing)

Identical to pictures
This Wakizashi arrived straight and sharpened. Initially everything is solid and well put together - no rattle, no wobble. The No-Bohi blade is 20.5 inches long and 7mm thick at the Habaki. There is a good distal taper that keeps the point of balance closer to your hand. The Tsuka handle is 8.25 inches long. The tang draws a magnet out until the last 1.8 inches of handle. I like the Tsuba more than I probably should - it doesn't draw a magnet, but (like most katanas made today) none of the hardware does. This dragon Tsuba has grown popular with a few other sword builders lately - DeJiang uses it on one of their popular swords. This katana also came with an inexpensive, nylon sword bag. It is the common (2 layer black/white) variety that many different sellers often include free, and sometimes without any mention. I had kept an eye on this advertisement for more than a year before I finally ordered one - something about the pictures just didn't quite look right, and the price never fluctuated. But it really is just as nice looking in person as it looks in these product pictures. This Wakizashi arrived inside of a clamshell style box, held in place by 6 (U-shaped) pieces of Styrofoam. The smell of Choji oil hits immediately after opening the box, which is a significant improvement over the typical reek of machine oil, and it does enhance the actual experience of receiving the katana. Besides the free sword bag, the handle was shrink wrapped and the blade wore a thin plastic sleeve that helps keep the Choji oil from evaporating. Really this is just the smartest way to deliver a katana, and it is pretty clear why the Original Katana Swords company gets so much return business - straight, sharpened swords with an emphasis put on creating a pleasant receiving experience for the buyer. Also, the nondescript Amazon delivery box was much appreciated. Maybe Original Katana Swords should consider putting together a "standard accessory package," that could include their famous little travel kit, with a modest (decent quality) sword stand. Buyers could choose to upgrade their katana purchase with the addition of this (optional) package - for a modest $19 increase of price. OKS would/could save a considerable amount of money on packaging, and from buying in bulk - and probably increase sales of their travel kits.

Great design
This Katana has a great design! The Damascus is very nice to look at. The red goes well with the blade which comes decently sharp. Everything feels very sturdy .

A beautiful sword with red on the blade looks like Canadian themed sword just needed a maple leaf Suba. The only down side is the red rubs off the blade when properly cleaned and oiled.
