STAEDTLER 309-9 Handwriting Pen - Black (Box of 10)

The Only Pen I've Used for, what? A couple of decades now?I'm not an elite businessman or anything. I don't need to flourish a £K fountain pen. I just jot down notes to myself. Shopping lists. Fill in a record book. But, there's just no way a ball point would feel right in my hand any more.My absolutely Favourite thing about a Staedtler is when a friend sees me write with one and says; " Wow! What a lovely writing pen! ". And I get to smile and say, " Here. Have one. I always keep a few to hand :) "I like spreading the Lurvv! :D

I was very disappointed with these pens. They came in the proper box and I bought them direct from from Amazonm not a third-party seller, so they must be genuine. However I have found they run out really quickly. I use them for work where I have to fill out training sheets. I find after 10 A4 sheets a day, writing on only about half of it the page, they start to go dry and scratchy after about 3 days and are useless by the end of a 5-day working week. Two weeks after ordering a box I've got through two pens already.When you first use them them they seem comfortable to use but I think they slightly over-ink so they smudge a bit, which takes a while to settle down. The textured area by the nib is also uncomfortable on the fingers.Overall these run out way too quickly, smudge when new and then dry out fast and are uncomfortable to hold. I expected a lot better from Staedtler and I won't be buying these again.

I bought some Staedtler pens before, and was so pleased with them only to find they lasted mere days, but they was black ones. I decided to try these orange ones, as ten for the price was extremely good. I have only tried one and they seem to be fine and if they don't last long, for the money I certainly wouldn't complain. Quite nice pens, with a nice fine nib, so quite pleased. Can't review longevity because I haven't used them yet, but like I said they are a very good price for the amount of ten so definitely a five star rating from me! Rosina x

Brilliant handwriting pens. Initially bought for my son who occasionally nibbles biro pen lids and takes pens apart, I thought these looked quite robust, which they definitely are. They are amazing to write with, I have even started using them for my work. They seem to last quite a while, they haven't dried out quickly and they do not smudge easily. I can write fast with no problems.Much better than another commom handwriting pen company (red pens). I will certainly be buying more of these. They look really stylish too. Smoother flow than a biro any day in my opinion.The sellers service was great and they arrived on time, in a clear plastic bag not a box, which was fine by me.
