Can you mix with water?

Not with the instant, but you can make the cook and serve with water... it comes out like a gel that I use as a base for fruit pies, especially a strawberry pie. It would not be something you would eat alone, but is a great pie base.

Has anyone tried almond milk or lactose free milk?

Tried with almond milk. Prepared overnight. Epic fail! It was watery. Boooo! Will need to resort to lactose free milk since I’m lactose intolerant.

Yes this is vegan! The Jell-O gelatins are not because they have gelatin in them but nothing in the puddings originates from life forms that can run away from being killed!
