I really like the colors, blue and gold, very sturdy, not heavy but also not lightweight. Very comfortable in the hands. I love that it is a set with a mechanical pencil. I bought this for a male friend of mine, for his birthday, since he is involved in a lot of organizations and councils I thought he would appreciate the sentiment and thought I put in when choosing this as a gift. I'm really happy with the quality and personalization of it. I will definitely order again in the near future for myself. I think I would have liked this a lot more if it came with some lead for the pencil. But luckily I have some on hand and didn't need to make another trip. The box it came in is very sturdy and I'm just pleased overall with this product.

I purchased this pen as a gift for a friend of mine who's done a lot to help me in my life through things that others couldn't navigate me through as easily. Who doesn't like something gold-plated? I wish I could've afforded gold filled, but this was in my budget and I know that he'll love it and that he's going to use it for many years to come. A+++++ all the way! Two thumbs up!

This pen set, containing a ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil, was the most beautiful PERSONALIZED set I’ve ever seen! The personal engraving on each one of the items was so perfect and so beautiful, it truly made this the nicest gift I could ever give my very special family member. The packaging and gift box with the velvet lining was just as beautiful. Hats off to Dayspring Pens for a job well done and a very very grateful customer…I WILL definitely order from them again!

Had a minor, but annoying problem with the pencil in the set. I reported the issue to Dayspring support, and they immediately sent me another pencil. Still, I was not satisfied with the way it was working. I understand but just suggested a couple of things in this set that didn't seem right. Without hesitation the support team reported that there were always changes being made and they sent me a completely new engraved set. No question Dayspring and their support team are fully dedicated to customer satisfaction. This new set appears flawless and just right for my purposes.

I ordered this as a graduation gift for my daughter. The pen itself looks nice, although the engraving is difficult to read but the gift box looks terrible and I'm really rather embarrassed to give it to my daughter the way it is. I contacted the company to ask if I could get a replacement box and I'm waiting to hear back.I see other photos that people posted about the same item in nice, satin lined gift boxes but that is not what I got. The inside is not satin but some that would not be a problem if the outside of the box weren't in such bad shape. There are grease stains on it as well as a small tear and scuff marks. It just looks tacky. Even the outer sleeve is slightly beat up and looks used. Overall this is not a nice looking gift. This makes me wonder if the pen quality is just as bad. I hope not.I'll post a follow up if the company sends me a replacement box and it's nice.Bottom line, the pen is nice but the engraving is hard to read and if you're planning to give this as a gift, keep in mind that the box looks cheap and tacky.Upgraded from 3 stars to 4 after hearing from the seller. Seller replied to my request for a replacement box in less than 24 hours to notify me that they were sending me a new box. The new box arrived and looks so much better than the original. It's still not the pretty, satin lined box that another customer showed in their photo review, but no without stains and scratches. Customer service was excellent and seller very responsive.

This is a beautiful pen, and the engraving is perfect! Writes smoothly. Makes a nice gift!

This is a perfect gift. Excellent design and materials; and the best part was the engraving. Many characters allowed to engrave statement instead of a name. Quick delivery too- made the moment better.** However, I would like to hear from Amazon why the PRICE INCREASED by $ 8.00 within 15' of looking at the item. [First view = $36.; second viewing= $39. ;3rd viewing= $44. ] Why !!!! AI-bots ??It creates a poor feeling about buying from Amazon !! Not the best long term business model !!
