Tiny, capable, and nicely priced now stock has returned
Picked one up for a small home automation project (Pi-hole plus a couple of sensors) and it's perfect for it. The quad-core punches well above its size and WiFi/Bluetooth on board means you avoid the dongle dance the original Zero needed. Heat is reasonable under sustained load. I'd recommend a small heatsink if you're going to be hammering it. Lovely bit of kit if you've got a Pi project in mind.

Great value and power from a small pcb
This is a great little pi, runs retroPi and other os options nicely. For value it's great, only thing I found is it only has 2 usb ports, one of which is power only so you'll likely need an otg splitter. Great starter board for a mini pc, retro games, or electronics/robotics projects.

Perfect for Pi-Hole
This amazing little worker is light on power consumption, small in size, yet manages Pi-Hole services with ease.

Expensive
good little device, but way cheaper at other suppliers, such as rapidonline. Don't pay more if you can get it for way less. Easy to set up, and perfect use as a simple IoT edge device in my network. Efficient and not power hungry.

Compact Powerhouse for Hobbyists and Experienced Users
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W has been a part of my project lineup for a bit now, primarily used in home automation. Reflecting on its performance and utility, there's a mix of attributes that stand out, along with certain caveats that potential users might want to consider. One of the device's key strengths lies in its power efficiency. This characteristic is particularly beneficial for those looking to implement it in scenarios where energy consumption is a critical factor, such as portable or battery-driven projects. The inclusion of Wi-Fi connectivity is another highlight, simplifying the integration into networked projects without the need for external adapters. The supportive community surrounding Raspberry Pi devices is a noteworthy advantage. Access to a vast array of documentation, forums, and user-generated content can ease the journey into both simple and complex projects. This ecosystem is invaluable for both beginners seeking guidance and experienced users looking for inspiration or troubleshooting advice. However, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is not without its limitations. The device offers a limited number of USB ports, which can restrict its use in projects that require multiple peripheral connections. This constraint is not a deal-breaker but does necessitate additional planning and possibly the investment in accessories like a USB hub, which could impact the project's footprint and budget. Conclusively, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W presents itself as an effective solution for specific use cases, particularly where size and power efficiency are paramount. Its performance is adequate for a range of applications, from educational purposes to hobbyist projects. Yet, it's important to approach it with a clear understanding of its limitations, especially regarding connectivity and peripheral support. When considered within its capabilities and constraints, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W can be a valuable component of a tech enthusiast's arsenal.

Great hardware to run a small server
Bargain for the price - I'm using this to host Pihole and block unwanted adverts on my network. Only pain point is that it uses mini or micro peripherals, so you'll probably end up buying those for a couple of uses only.

Rock‑solid little board – perfect for Pi‑hole
This has been a great little device. I installed Pi‑hole on it, put it in a small case, and it’s been running 24/7 for over a year with no issues at all. Stable, low‑power and completely reliable. Ideal for lightweight network tasks like this.

Just the card so you will need other bits to use
Arrived as advertised, i.e. just the board. I already had a 2.4A usb supply with micro USB connector to power it. You will also need a SD card, a heatsink kit is recommend, and probably a case. I am using this card to run Pi-Hole but have previously used these boards for other functions such as Octopi.
