Q: Can this rest take the beating a 300 ultra mag will give it

My son shot my 300 RUM Stainless Fluted Sendero by Remington topped with a Zeiss optic/ with full power bear loads from this same sled with no problem with recoil. He could shoot MOA @ 100 yards. (He did so whem he was 4 years of age). Took first deer at 5 years of age.

Q: Will this hold a Savage Precision .338 Lapua 26" barrell?

Forend larger than 3.25 inches will not fit on the cradle. Savage 338 LM or Barrett 416 will not fit Too Big.

Q: What is the length (front to back) of the front cradle? Id like to know if my ar 15 forend will fit with my magpul hand guard? Thank you.

23" from Butt to cradle. Front cradle just from 8" to 10" in height.

Q: Does DFT 2 come with shot bags

You have to buy them separately. Get 4 of them. Each one will hold about 25 lbs. of lead shot. That way your rest won't move around while you're shooting. It's a very irritating experience, especially when trying to zero in a new optic.
