UCX-17PRO Pontoon Mirror Universal Mount

I bought the PTM Edge UCX-17PRO Pontoon Mirror Universal Mount to mount on our new Pontoon boat. My previous ski boat came with the PTM Elite Mirror System, so after years of using that high quality mirror, I couldn't stand not having any mirror on my new Pontoon. Yes, the PTM is expensive, but the quality is there, and I'd rather spend the extra money on a quality product than have to replace a cheaper one on a more regular basis. Once I got the mirror set up, I was able to forget it. The mount arm is sturdy, and easily removable from the base mount to cover the boat. If you plan to remove it each time you cover your boat, I suggest you purchase the PTM neoprene mirror sleeve to protect it from scratches - again, not cheap, but well worth it.

I was initially not going to give a good review because the mirror won't stay in place without constantly being tightened. Company sent new mirror and it works great. First one had a rubber gasket that was loose and slipped. Very good mirror and wonderful company to work with.

This is really well built and works fantastically. I mounted it to the helm of my Barletta L23U triple pontoon boat so I could watch skiers and tubers behind me. It was expensive for what it is, but I couldn't find anything better and I feel like it was a good purchase despite the high cost. it was slightly challenging to install on the fiberglass helm....required drilling 4 holes and bolting from underside - which required opening access panel to the helm and getting head and shoulders inside.

I use this mirror on pontoon boat,liked everything about the mirror other than the rubber washer used between the arm and the base it moves out of position and the arm falls down.

Really love the mirror to allow for pulling a skier now in Wisconsin (as of 2019) with no observer. Put it on a pontoon and it's just great, make sure you test where to put it before you permanently bolt it down, I like it very close to me and took some getting used to using. Really a neck saver not having to turn around so much even when I have observers on board. I use it for watching also how inflatables are sliding around behind me. Love it.

Excellent quality mirror BUT product write up indicated a cover was included, but one was not with the unit when received. Very disappointed in this as it will make it difficult to keep the mirror protected when the mirror is in storage/ not on the bracket.

This is expensive, but after receiving and installing you will understand the value in what you bought. It feels like a premium product, you will not be underwhelmed with the quality. This thing will be a show piece to go with your expensive boat.

A bit pricey, but well done. Easy install on pontoon console, easy adjustment, and great rear view coverage. Easy removal for storage. Would have been nice if a protective cover was included for storage protection.
