There's something deeply unnatural about voluntarily strapping extra weight to your torso and then going for a jog. My past self would be baffled. My knees have filed a formal complaint. That said, the vest does its job. It sits snug against the chest and back, and after a few runs I stopped feeling like a pack mule and started feeling like a slightly more dramatic version of myself. It doesn't bounce around, which is the thing I was most worried about, and the weight feels evenly distributed rather than lopsided. Fair warning: the first run after wearing it feels suspiciously easy, like you've been given a superpower and a mild sense of smugness. Sizing runs a touch snug, so if you're between sizes, go up. And in warm weather, it traps heat like it's being paid to, so plan accordingly. I lost one star for that, and for the fact that it makes stairs feel personal. Would I recommend it? If you want to make a normal run feel like a sequel with a bigger budget, yes.

Honestly, 5 stars is deserved for this product as I cant find any faults with it. I did a lot of research on multiple brands when I was choosing a weighted vest and everything kept coming to this particular item. Some review points: Vest does feel heavy to pick up and move around but is nicely distributed around the upper body once on. A good fit overall with very little movement while I exercise. The two chest straps make all the difference. Very well made and the quality of materials, shape and stitching is excellent. No fear of anything ripping or tearing Comfort - I have worn the vest without anything underneath and it did not pinch or rub/irritate my skin at all. Looking on online, a weighted vest should ideally weigh between 5-10% of your body weight. I choose an option at the hight end of this range. When I put the vest on first, given how well the weight itself is distributed, I thought I have made a mistake going too light but it certainly has increased the overall effort need to achieve the same workout results without it on. Overall, very happy with this product and use it daily. Would definitely recommend this weight vest. Review Update: I have had the weight vest a year now and would still give this product a 5 star review. I use my weight vest daily (even several times a day) and still is in the same condition like the day it arrived. Every strap, stitch and seem are still perfect with no sign of wear and tear. The weight is still distributed nicely and has not shifted around. Honestly, despite daily use, I am still very impressed with this product and would definitely buy again when needed but I dont think I will need another one for a while yet given its quality

I’ve had the best for just over a month and have already lost some weight.I think in order to lose more I should probably use it more. Material is breathable, silky and durable. Can just be wiped clean after use. Easily adjustable as it has a strap that goes across the chest. Not too heavy either.I opted for the 5kg and was scared it might be too heavy for my back but it’s not. It takes getting used to as you can feel it’s there but I’ve noticed if O co tract my core muscles it helps me stay straight.

I wanted a weight vest that I could walk and run on the threadmill. This is perfect as the weight is evenly distributed across shoulders back and front. The weight I brought is 16lbs. And is quite heavy to pick up, but once on is comfortable. I weigh 160lb and am 5 ft 7. I have used twice now and have no aches or chaffing. Price was reasonable. Some people having commented about the vest having a smell. When it was taken out the packaging I could smell a neoprene smell, but now had it out a couple of days, I can’t say I notice it now. Also the 16lb vest comes with 2 buckets, across upper chest and above belly which can tighten so the belt fits snug and doesn’t jig about when running.

Bought these for my walks/jogs on the treadmill - they really help to burn more calories and sweat more! I have the 10kg version, and even though it feels heavy to hold in your hand, once you put it on, it feels quite light since the weight is distributed. It has a netted pocket on the back, and some elastic attachment bands on the front to connect your clip-on devices too, like Airpods. I put 4 stars because when running, it bounces too much and feels like someone is just hitting your shoulders constantly when the vest is bouncing up and down on your shoulders. And also, the straps to tighten the vest from the front is a bit fiddly, could have been better designed, but still does the job. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and you can tell its of great quality.

Been using this for a year now. I just love it. I’ve gained so much strength and better posture wearing this for my long walks. I bought the 7.3kg. I think I’m going to need an heavier soon. This one is getting easy.

Love it! I will admit I put it on upside down like a plonker (seems the 1* review did the same, the elastic should be under your arms!) Anyway, I really felt it while pottering round the house, and walking with it builds up a real sweat. Didn’t notice any smells, fab item! I’m a size 18-20, fits me well but the bottom strap is on almost the longest, so think larger people may only be able to fasten the top strap.
