I had an older Kenwood slow cooker that I gave away when I moved a year ago. This new one arrived yesterday and works fine. At 10pm I filled it to within a few cm of the top with chicken, vegetables, spices, and about a cup of water and set it to LOW. At 6am today I sampled the stew and everything was perfect. For those who commented about it cooking too hot on the low setting, I can only suggest that you add liquids like water or broth, as well as chunks of tomatoes. If you cook dry, it will probably be too hot. I am glad I bought this one for less money with its simple controls, as the more expensive ones with digital controls and timers would be unnecessary for me.

At this pricepoint the product is very good but its much bigger than you expect. We are a family of 4 and 3.5 ltr would be the ideal size for us. I had to return it for that reason. I have ordered a smaller one now.

Very efficient way to cook and prep meals

the products good, delivary was great. My only slight annoyance is that the low heat seems to be the same as the high heat so if your trying to slow cook something overnight it probably won't work as expected.
