Adapter works
I used this on a 2015 Macbook Pro 13.3" and it works great.Make sure to push the adapter properly into the Macbook NV.Me SSD slot since it is very tight.Then the replacement NV.Me SSD can go in.I used it together with a Sandisk NV.Me SSD 1TB bought from another seller on sale.A USB Flash with whatever MacOS boot disk needs to be created before starting the replacement process.This USB Flash will be used to boot, erase/format the new SSD (using DiskUtil), and reinstall the MacOS into the new SSD (Reinstall MacOS).

Wasn't Able To Make It Fit
I have a 2015 15in Macbook Pro Retina and it didn't quite fit with the 1TB Sandisk SSD I bought from BestBuy. Let me explain. At the backend of the SSD there's a notch that exposes the screw mounting hole. When I used this adapter the hole was always half covered so I couldn't install the screw to hold it down. I pushed the adapter into the NVME slot as far as it would go but with the SSD installed it was always a bit too long.If the notch on the SSD was a little deeper it would have fit perfectly.
