The mountains are well-known for its beautiful scenery and rich natural resources. Tea from the mountains grows much slowly which allows more nutrition to be accumulated. Thus the tea has more balanced taste and long lasting aroma. Multiple brews are recommended. It was said in the Ming Dynasty, two men got lost in the Yellow mountains, exhausted and ill. They met an old monk who was carrying a bag of tea leaves. The two asked what’s in the bag because the aroma was so attempting. Tea leaves from the mountains. The monk brewed some tea at night. After pouring hot water over the tea, they saw silky clouds arose slowly on top of the teapot, circling in the air then became a white peony flower. The flower continued arising like a cloud and the whole room was filled with the delicate nutty flowery aroma. After few cups of this tea, the two men were fully recovered.
