It’s exactly what Hario says it is i.e. a single pour dripper. The coffee tastes well albeit perhaps a bit flat (I’ll need to adjust my grind by going a bit finer).

Works as intended. With good technique, you can make a good coffee. Use a good filter. Authentic nade in Japan.

Según el video de Hario, en 15” se deben verter 300 ml de agua en 25 gr de café y ajustar el molido para que el tiempo total de goteo sean 90”. En la práctica, puedes ir ajustando el ratio café - agua y tiempo de vertido para obtener el café que a ti te guste; eso sí, tener en cuenta que el Gotero Mugen de Hario está diseñado para un único vertido en el cual el café quedará adherido a la pared del gotero; de lo contrario, si decides usarlo de la manera tradicional, el tiempo de extracción aumentará junto con la amargura (sobre - extracción)Por lo tanto, con el Hario V60 Mugen puedes obtener un excelente café en menos de 2 minutos y sin necesidad de “blooming”, una excelente opción, sin duda alguna.

Ich benutze schon länger die standard V60 von Hario, nun habe ich mich entschieden mal diese "Mugen" Variante auszuprobieren. Bei gleichem Mahlgrad fließt das Wasser hier langsamer durch, was zu einem vollerem Geschmack führt. Das meine ich erstmal völlig neutral, da manche Leute einen feineren Geschmack bevorzugen, aber mir Gefällt das Resultat besser als bei der standard Variante.Qualität ist gut, die Halterung sitzt aber sehr straff. Ich finde aber, dass der Mugen durch diese Halterung flexibler einsetzbar ist als die standard V60. Egal ob Thermoflasche,-Becher oder eine direkt in eine Tasse, klappt alles wunderbar, vorher war es zum Teil etwas wackelig.Knapp 15 Euro finde ich ein bisschen zu viel für so ein simples Kunststoffteil, das muss aber jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Letztendlich war es mir das Geld dann doch wert und ich habe es nicht bereut.Als nächstes kommt dann evtl. die Hario Switch.

I'm really enjoying having this option for my pour over coffee. I've been using the standard Hario V60 for many years now, and it's great for making my normal 20 oz daily cups. However, sometimes if I'm having coffee later in the day...or if I only have time enough for one cup...then this new Hario option is awesome, and the stronger brew it makes tastes great.Following the instructions, you will make an 8 oz cup that is stronger than the standard 16:1 water-to-coffee ratio. By my calculations, I'm ending up with around 9:1 water-to-coffee ratio. I know I could adjust to get a different result, but I kinda like the stronger result...especially if I'm only going to have 1 cup.I got the plastic version, and it snaps apart for cleaning.
