I bought the Morphy Richards EasyCHARGE Cordless Steam Iron because apparently ironing is already enough of a punishment without being physically tethered to the wall like a domestic hostage. It arrived quickly, looked good quality straight out of the box, and immediately gave off the impression that it had come to bring order to my creased-shirt shame. The cordless design is brilliant. No more dragging a cable across the ironing board like a confused electrical python. No more accidentally ironing around the lead like I’m defusing a bomb in a laundry-based action film. You just charge it, iron, and briefly feel like technology has finally apologised for making ironing necessary in the first place. One downside is that, because it is cordless, it does lose temperature fairly quickly and needs reconnecting to the base every few minutes. It is not a massive issue because I tend to plug it back in whenever I adjust the garment anyway, but it is noticeable when moving from a corded iron to a cordless one. Think of it less as a problem and more as the iron politely returning to base for a tiny power nap. It worked really well for about three years, right up until I tried to carry the ironing board, the iron, and the clothes all at once like some kind of overconfident domestic octopus. The iron was dropped, which was entirely my fault and not a reflection on the product. I genuinely believe it would have lasted many more years if I had not introduced it to gravity with such enthusiasm. I only changed to a different iron because of an Amazon Prime sale, but even then Morphy Richards clearly deserved another chance, so I bought another Morphy Richards cordless iron. That probably says everything: yes, the cordless design has a small trade-off, but the convenience, build quality, and reliability made it worth coming back to the brand. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Five stars for quick delivery, good quality, durability, and making ironing feel slightly less like a chore invented by someone who hated weekends. Just maybe do not try to carry the entire laundry operation in one trip unless you have eight arms and a better relationship with balance than I do.

I am an elderly and disabled customer. When my last iron broke and I needed a new one I dreaded having to shop for the replacement. I had seen this iron in a local electrical store, but the store assistant was not helpful, so came home and looked on Amazon instead. Good item description helped me make the choice, and I am delighted with the product. I suffer from arthritis in my shoulders and a problem with my spine, so doing the ironing is not easy for me, but this iron makes it a much easier chore to complete. Unlike some steam irons, it is genuinely light weight. Instructions and design are very clear to use. Having no cord attached to the iron itself makes it so much easier to move around. I was worried about how long it would retain heat between removing from base and returning, but I was impressed that I could iron a section and then it would reheat really quickly to be ready to do the next section. I am genuinely pleased with my purchase and would recommend, especially if you have upper limb mobility problems.

Having been irritated for years by cords tangling themselves and getting caught on every possible object whenever I was ironing, I was intrigued when I noticed the relatively affordable cordless models that have come to the market in recent years There seems to be a common misconception that these irons have batteries inside that 'charge up' when you plug them into the base. The technology for such a thing in 2026 wouldn't be in any way safe or practical, at least not at anything like this price point. Instead, the iron just works like a normal corded model where the element is turned on and off periodically and heat retention is sufficient to fill in the gaps. In this case though, it also relies on the user knowing when to put the iron back on the base at the appropriate time. First impressions during unboxing were good, it looks and feels quite high quality for this price bracket. The weight is fairly typical compared to corded models. The first time I used the iron I was not really satisfied as it did not seem hot enough and would cool down very quickly. However I discovered that turning the temperature up a bit higher than I would normally, things worked a lot better. Still, I find I don't really get much more than about 20 seconds of use before it cools down noticeably and I have to put it back on the base. For me this isn't really a problem because I tend to take the ironing very slowly and the 10 seconds or so to heat back up doesn't delay me much, but I can see that people who normally get through ironing jobs very quickly will be frustrated by the experience. The steam function seems to work well enough and once I adjusted the temperature (as mentioned already) there were no real issues with it leaking water. But if you are regularly ironing delicate items you may find that the need to use a higher temperature setting than normal is a problem Overall I am happy with the iron for the price paid (not much more than a typical corded model) but I would only recommend if you do not do a lot of ironing and find having a cord particularly annoying

I’m very happy with my new iron! So lightweight compared to my old one and cordless which is so much better. The water gauge isn’t very clear as the glass is dark but you can feel when it’s nearly empty. The good thing is it also switches itself off if you accidentally leave it on! Nothing to dislike and I’m hoping it lasts me a good long time. 🥰🥰🥰

Easy to use This replaces my old one (not Morphy Richards) and is a definite improvement. No struggle to get off sole plate and irons extremely well. Very pleased with it.

I was going to leave a very mixed review for this iron. On one hand, it's great - the cordless function makes it very easy to use and the steam function is very good. It's also easy to clean and the water chamber is easy to fill. But - I've now had three of these irons in the last 18 months because there seems to be a few problems with the model. The first iron I received leaked - a lot - to the point it became a very serious concern! An electrical appliance probably shouldn't have water spraying out of it during use. So I was offered a replacement, and that was fine - no leaking - but I found that it only really got hot enough to use when the heat setting was at maximum. Edited to add; the second replacement iron also started leaking, less than three months after I received it. I'm now returning the item for a refund and will look to purchase a different make and model. Three irons all with similar faults suggests there are some serious design flaws!

Ergonomic, fairly lightweight, easy to fill. Useful for occasional use, but a pain to get through a substantial pile. However, doesn’t stay hot long (one garment at a time) and steam quickly runs out. Also, seems to frequently dribble water when in use. For us it is ok. We no longer work in offices so rarely need to iron anything, and mainly used for school uniform each week. Wouldn’t want to use it for anything more.

المشكله الوحيده انها بلا اي اوراق مثل دليل استخدام او اي من الاشياء التي نشتريها مع الاجهزه ولكن لضروره احتياجي استخدمتها ولثقتي في امازون والحمدالله كانت رائعه
