These are hands down the best puzzles I’ve ever put together. There’s so much detail that it makes them a challenge. And all the quirky bits make them fun and engaging. There’s even a spot on the inside of the lid to write your name and the date you completed it. With additional lines for others who complete them after you. So well thought out and incredibly engaging. I always feel such satisfaction and accomplishment when I finish one of these. I’m also grateful for the posters because these puzzles require them if you don’t want to be aimlessly trying to plug pieces where they shouldn’t be. So much detail.

Got this for my MIL since she's retired (70+). We started puzzling on our own, but my MIL joined in and fallen in love with it. She never really do it before These puzzles are not terribly difficult and have non-conventional shapes and borders so it was a fun thing to throw into the mix of your standard puzzles. She also enjoyed the "surprise" at the end. She did all of Series One and Two. The quality of the pieces feel solid, but it's still cardboard at the end of the day. Sturdy for cardboard, but of course can't compare to solid wood puzzles. We have not put it together and taken it apart like some of our kids puzzles (larger pieces), but I think it could go the distance.

We love these puzzles. I bought a single one first (The Mystic Maze), and then I went back and bought multiple 3-packs. To increase the difficulty, we like to do it without looking at the posters that are included, which provide the preliminary image. It's really fun to...well, to puzzle your way through what exactly is happening as you piece it together. Many of the shapes are unique. You might have a fish in a piece shaped like a fish, etc. That also adds a dimension of challenge. There are stickers (unrelated to the puzzle, but still included), a scavenger hunt once the puzzle is assembled, and two posters of the image to help you with the assembly. The box has a place inside to mark who did it and when; have you ever heard of a puzzle company that encourages you to share rather than buy a new one? We would love to see more from this company but with a different twist. While all the puzzles are still fun even after doing so many, we wouldn't mind a different shape, if you know what I mean. ***wink wink***

My fiancé and I first purchased just 1 of these puzzles from the store since it was something we hadn’t seen before. Very vibrant colors. We loved them so much we bought this set. Lots of fun, then we gift them to our friends who also love puzzles.

i love these puzzles these are the best puzzles i have put together by far. great design and nice shapes. love the magic part at the end. definitely made a memory with these.

I love these puzzles. The first batch of three was amazing. The new batch is great, but not as good as the first batch. That said, they are still among the best puzzles on the market. DIFFICULTY: Excellent! Some pieces that appear to be outside edge pieces aren't, which ups the difficulty, I love it. DUST: The first batch of three advertised that they were getting rid of puzzle dust. They did that successfully, the puzzles were amazing. The new batch of three has some puzzle dust, but not near as bad as other puzzle brands. I am disappointed it isn't as dust free as the first edition, but that is okay. FIT: The first batch of three fit together amazingly. The pieces fit together with a clean snap, didn't fall out, but were easy to remove. The die used to cut the new batch of three is uneven. In some places it is tight, in other places it is loose. Overall, when the puzzle is complete the lines between the pieces are clearly visible -- much more than on the first puzzle. The pieces fit together nicely, but no longer have that satisfying snap into place. Also, some pieces now have a larger gap between them. It's a step backward, but more in keeping with other puzzle brands. ART: I love the art on these! The first three had a great feature that every single piece had something going on that was interesting. The new batch isn't quite as energetic in that regard, but it still has activity in most places. I am disappointed that there are now some blank pieces, but rarely is there a large blank canvas where you are trying to solve it by shape rather than image. The story the puzzles tell, the way that story changes, and the characters are just absolute fun. My kids literally lose hours studying the maps and the puzzles and declaring what characters they want to be and telling stories about them. Well done to the artists. SECRET: I love the idea of the secret. It works great. Each puzzles pieces have different shapes throughout, so the die is obviously changed. Except, the die for the secret is always the same. Once you figure that out, the puzzles are easier to do, which is disappointing. I wish that they would change up the shape of the secret, because it would make the puzzles more dynamic. I understand the added cost that would cause, but it really would elevate each puzzle to being consistently something special, rather than, "Oh, it's the same overall outline." I do love how the secret changes the puzzle at the end of the day and tells you more of the story, but please change the basic die cut for it so that we get a bit of variety! OVERALL: 5 out of 5. Would buy again, would gift these. My family loves them. They are some of the best puzzles we have ever done for many reasons, ranging from the imagery to the build to the little quality indicators like using paper bags to hold the pieces inside the box instead of plastic. Well done to the creators! I would consider reducing the rating on the puzzles overall by 1 star, for the minor manufacturing quibbles above, but none of those destroy the enjoyment of these puzzles.

These puzzles are AMAZING! They are so unique and provide quite the challenge for people who like doing puzzles. The coolest part is after you put the puzzle together you mix the completed part around and put together a small mystery puzzle in the middle. It is great fun and I highly recommend. The picture quality if great!

I love the Magic Puzzle Company puzzles! I prefer to do puzzles without looking at the box or picture of the puzzle as guidance and that is extra challenging (in a good way) with these since there are so many extra edges. I also find that doing puzzles this way helps you better appreciate all the tiny details and boy do these have a bunch of fun little things to look it. Highly recommend these puzzles. I’ve bought all that are out so far and will continue to buy them as they come out.
