my old yamaha drives me nuts, because of the buzz sounds with the strings. If I buy this one will it buzz?

This is my second Yamaha guitar. I've found that the Yamaha guitars are terrific as far as their overall quality, but they need a professional setup. The bridge tends to be too high and the truss rod needs a slight adjustment. Take it to a quality luthier who will charge around $50 for a pro setup. Afterwards, it will sound and play like a $800 (or more) instrument.

Does anybody have a fairly accurate measurement of the neck when measured at the nut? Thanks!

43mm = the nut width = width of fretboard at the nut.

This was my first guitar. I found it very comfortable but then I bought a Taylor mini. Each has its place I still play then both

Is it high or low action?

In my opinion it's extremely HIGH. It was so high that I took it to my guitar luthier who said " it's unplayable like that" He had to shave off a little of the bridge, adjust the Nut grooves and dress a couple of high frets at the 12th to get it in reasonable shape and for myself to be happy with it. The bass E is 2mm above the 12th fret now so within bounds. She plays and sounds okay but it's not my favourite guitar by a long chalk to be honest. Spends more time in its case!
