So far, so good.I bought these to replace wheels on my wet/dry vac and, wouldn't you know it, the stems on these were way too thick.I couldn't find an alternative that would permit me to drag my vacuum over runner rugs with ease, so -- make it work.I took the old casters off my Dewalt stealthsonic and measured the original stems -- somewhere between 7-8mm, and fairly long. They insert into little black plastic adapters that are then screwed into position.I grabbed my map gas torch and started cooking the stems on these new wheels one at a time, then pressed them into adapters by hand. I could have gone the drilling route instead, but it would have created too big of a hole/opened up the bore that these casters would fit in into an adjacent cavity.. So, melting (I'll later pack around the bore hole in the adapters with epoxy (to add extra strength.)Anyways, it worked. Now my wet/dry vac can roll out the door and down the driveway with a single push. No more carrying the big thing.Oh, if you should follow in my footsteps (ill-advised)I found that the best way for me to handle the casters and adapters into which I was pressing them was to use welding gloves. Stuff got pretty hot. Had to be careful not to melt the wheels, and will need to repack the swivel bearing with grease (seeped out a little as I worked.)Check it.Now.. I need to keep people from stealing my shop vac. Quiet, strong, well-filtered, bagged, and rolls easily. It's gonna have to stay at home.

I've had a nice gaming chair for about 4 years and the only complaint I have is that the rollers are hard and scratch the wood flooring. I bought, at the same time, a floor matt that the chair rides on, but it's not always in the right place and a wheel gets caught or bends the matt. I've put up with this for the entire 4 years.I finally decided to replace the chair rollers withy high-quality rollers and it's an amazing difference. The matt isn't needed, the rollers are smooth and larger than the wheels that came with the chair. I should have done this years ago.If you have a nice chair and don't have upgraded rollers, get them, upgrade your chair.

These rollers are incredibly quiet and appear to be soft enough to avoid wearing down the surface of a wood floor over time. They roll so easily that they almost seem frictionless. They are obviously taller than the two inch double wheels they replaced and the sitting height difference is very noticeable. So if you have short legs you might want to consider the two inch double polyurethane wheels that are also available.

I honestly have no idea why I did not change out the wheels in my chair years ago. I have a very nice chair in my home office which I have hardwood floors. This “up grade” in the wheels makes such a hug difference in movement, sound, and all around ease of motion. Worth every dime and so easy to install.

I purchased these to replace a set of wheels on an old patio chair and it was like going from a Chevrolet to a Cadillac. Nice upgrade rolls around over rugs very easily.

Got these because I needed to lift my chair up. Still going strong and moves smoothly. Only issue is the clear chair matt I have cracked where the wheels are because the pressure isn't spread out but now concentrated.

We own a tattoo shop and with artists constantly moving around on their chairs, these make it very easy to glide on tile or LVP floors. Just be careful when putting them on your chair Because if you sit down to fast Your chair will get away from you.
